The Legendary Brenda Wood 00:4711:53 about a year before she left Memphis to become a very popular and beloved news anchor in Atlanta. Very loved in Memphis. Big Jack Eaton!! 6:49 And Joe Birch will anchor until he drops dead, King of Mid-South TV News 23:59 Still there today. I did not know that the Oprah Winfrey Show aired at Weekdays at 10 AM before moving to afternoons in Memphis.
@Kristopher O'Neil Kim Hindrew is married to Mason Granger. Kim Hindrew succeeded Brenda Wood as evening co-anchor in 1988. Brenda Wood was married at the time she lived in Memphis. Brenda and her husband moved to Atlanta, however they would come back to Memphis on occasion.
@Kristopher O'Neil Nancy Hart was somewhat of an entertainment reporter, as she had filed reports on Action News 5 called "Intermission" ? I believe she left WMC in the late 80s...possible left the television industry all together.
