Shooting heads are normally shorter around here. Due to the fact that the rivers here are deep, we normally fish with sinking lines. However, if you do not want to buy an entirely sinking line, the line company RIO makes a shooting head that is floating, that comes with many different tips with different sink rates, which means you can just switch the tips depending on where you are fishing. Looks like small river. Is it deep? What fly line (3d?) did you use? I'm going to Skjern in May, got I/S3/S4 -should be enough?
