yeah i played chip once and its impossible to coordinate with a team unless your talking with them or theyre just very experienced... 1. they just go into portals not even looking if its safe 2. once team fight ended they choose to clear the opposite or mid lane side causing 1 maybe 2 of our turrets to fall due to their absence 3. they just dont commit for a teamfight at all also i am kinda hoping that the portal lasts 20 seconds since teamfights usually lasts around 10 - 20 so most of the time youll either force a portal back to location which risks a team losing a teamfight/not getting value or continue the teamfight risking a turret to be destroyed
they should nerf it to two portal only and increase the cd really 😭 or maybe add an indicator and delay like arrival so that the enemy can be aware of his position

The way i see it, you can play it 2 ways; counter it back with heroes that can deal huge aoe damage from afar such as ixia or aoe cc with heroes like belerick or atlas, or simply split push when the enemies use chip’s teleport

But if that advantage is just as dire as it should be, such as Chip and his allies killed 4 of your team mates, then pushing is the best strategy, considering Chip can stunlock you if you portal yourself onto that area. On the other hand, caughting them off guard is a huge win for your team and also a possible savage. Just a reminder, don't let Chip reach your base. You might end up recalling back due to that mistake.
Quick tip. When enemies gank you and you have no chance of surviving, leave his ult on enemies for your teammates and recall immediately in a safe place. After recalling, a portal will be open near the fountain (base), and you can teleport back with full hp to join the fight.
It depends if they destroyed that portal much faster. His portal at Early is so squishy, but somehow none of my team would destroy that thing 😂 Also, if you want that thing to be destroy, have Franco or Ruby to mitigate it, or let that thing be destroyed. Even Chag'e can destroy that thing..
I think this hero killed the skills in the game, especially map awareness. Honestly, they only need to nerf him heavily enough to make him fall. If he continues being this way, his portrait is carved in the ban section.

You can't argue enemies can also enter chip portal because Chip's teammates can basically camp deep within their lane so enemies either can't enter or is already late to do so. Once Chip's invading is done, his allies can easily go back to the portal. You can argue that Chip's portal can be destroyed, but it still a win cuz enemy jungler is basically gapped already and they can easily bruteforce the nearest lane to exchange their other lanes that got farmed. Chip can also chase anyone because of the four portals around the map. And if Chip can chase you, his whole teammates can too. Chip can easily cut lanes and split lanes because of the four portals and his movement speed buff. If you add emblem movement speed buff + conceal + arrival. He's basically zooming around the map. These can all be countered or mitigated just cuz of the fact that everyone can enter Chip's portal. But it's too much thought process for a simple and easy moba game as MLBB. So basically if you're against Chip, and you and you're teammate either don't know or can't be bothered to deal with Chip's mind games. It's 95% a losing game.
well the invading thing only works if enemy tank doesnt help jgler and goes to lane instead which most likely wont happen in high rank games and if every teammates start using teleport that basically leaves other lanes unattended,enemies can just choose to sacrifice their jgl to push other lanes and if enemies has a tank with aoe ult like belerick,gato,mino etc you are basically teleporting to your death and also this 5 man collapse will only work on jglers without much mobility and if there is an enemy tank who only babysits mm.The real op thing about chip is just his teleport on 4 sides of the map

That is why when playing Chip, invading the enemies is a right bet at Early, due to that skill. The more the enemies are, the shield and stun will. In order to counter Chip, you should use either Aamon, Karina (Chip's stun is considered BA) or any mobility or CC immunity heroes. Even I have a hard time countering Martis because of his 2nd skill. Another counter for Chip, is Valentina, where she would force a 5v5 on the team along with the Mvm Spd Buff when allies enter the portal.
For me, it's hard to cut lanes, due to his limited damage and AoE. Sure, his 1st skill is an AoE but its not dotted damage, and Chip has a hard time zooming around the map, when he is underwhelmed by the minions hordes, making him lose track on his portal. Luckily, at Betosky's video, his team are helping him, and are active in the portal. But in solos, they will just blame you from over focusing their jungle, but it's your job to disrupt his farm. Underutilized portals is much worse compare to his 4th skill. And traversing the map with 4th skill is either helpful or you can get ganked for teleporting in a wrong one, especially if there's Popol's trap nearby 🥹

They should really nerfthe hell out of his third skill cuz his ultimate is already broken enough like your teammates can get to you and back to their lanes but you can also go to them with pretty fast cooldown for the beacons considering how the game is paced maybe they should increase the cd for it or allow the beacons to be damaged by the enemy and chip would have to repair it or change the beacon locations

Really good with focus fire support emblem and the red roam item. Really good synergy. Your teammates get buffed while the enemy takes extra damage. Also add in fleeting time to spam ult, you immediately have a super support.
The only thing that should be fixed is that Chip ult portal should have a confirmation button just like Mathilda. I have been on too many occassion, running away with low health in high speed ( I'm using Natan ) then a portal opens up in front of me that teleported me RIGHT BACK into the middle of the war.
Chip can be double edged sword too, I used tig against chip and when I was about to make set on enemy mm she disappeared by chip portal and I followed her to the portal and used 5 man ult on enemies since they were all clustered together and they clearly weren't expecting me but im the end it didn't do much since my mage had already died but I manage to kill some low hp enemies before dying
I played a 5 man rank game with chip being played by one of my friends We ran an brawl heavy comp -chip -kadita -martis -khaleed -wanwan Our idea was in the early game we had only kadita and martis go in portals to support our hyper agressive chip Invading camps and just making vision control like hell The second part was having a 5 team objective take all the time This made for some of the funnest and most broken mobile legends games I've played Chip is a fun hero but he is a pain to play against aince your always guessing where he'll be teleporting in the map he could be -gettung ready to obliterate your jungle -having the most devious map pressure -giving anxiety to every lane

Right now, the only one that I can think of that might be able to soft counter-engage Chip is Lou Yi. Like, bait Chip and his teammates to engage one of your allies then use Lou Yi's ultimate to surprise their backline.
if yall are surprised by how op chip is, theres a hero in aov that exist wayy before him and has something chip doesnt. Its an INSTANT teleport to the base and returning back to a combat point if u manage to get in time to her portal. Go look up the hero, Rouie in AOV
Honestly when u have good chip in ure tm u don't rly need to think bout rotation which is kinda insane, I mean imagine early game, being an exp laner who just cleared his wave, tp pops up, u tp to the other side of the map to help kill their mm, jngl or whoever or whatever u gotta deal with and after that u casually tp back when another wave arrives. Rn I can think of so many examples but prolly all of em have one thing in common for sure - the pressure is over the roof for enemy tm.
Not sure if this was mentioned but the enemy can attack the portal as well. Not sure if it’s the “minion” or “tower” button. And the portal is also open at the base. In that 15 seconds of the portal is opened, you may have time to regen then use the portal to go for team fight.
Yah he's OP. Try also doing 2nd skill then come near enemy, 1st skill then do the basic attack. This will trigger multiple stun with his passive. His 2nd skill have 2 phase. Try to abuse it for now 😊
i feel like chip will be a good addition to the pro scene meta. i can already imagine good teams like ONIC and APBR (as well as BLCK, AURA, MNNE, GEEK) dominate whenever Chip is available for grabs
Truly, if the tank is playing chip and he knows what he is doing, when to go in or open portal it so actually so beneficial for the team. One reason i can say this is i was able to make so many epic plays using mellisa in different matches, even one of my Maniac was due to our team chip!!

Game developers should make the 1,2,3,4 teleportation destroyable. Those portals can respawn after every 20 secs... That might be fair... Because there will be no sence of map awareness... His ult already have a delay since the gate is going to be behind teammates and can be destroyed and can easily be countered with the enemy team who has a better set up. He's pretty much banned in every Ranked lobby right now, but it's hell when you play in Classic mode cuz mostly likely both teams have Chip in it.

Nah it wasn't like that I remember playing him from day 1 he's pretty much unchanged there was no knock up airborne at any point

I have been on too many occassion, running away with low health in high speed ( I'm using Natan ) then a portal opens up in front of me that teleported me RIGHT BACK into the middle of the war.

Chip can be double edged sword too, I used tig against chip and when I was about to make set on enemy mm she disappeared by chip portal and I followed her to the portal and used 5 man ult on enemies since they were all clustered together and they clearly weren't expecting me but im the end it didn't do much since my mage had already died but I manage to kill some low hp enemies before dying

Our idea was in the early game we had only kadita and martis go in portals to support our hyper agressive chip
Invading camps and just making vision control like hell
The second part was having a 5 team objective take all the time
This made for some of the funnest and most broken mobile legends games I've played
Chip is a fun hero but he is a pain to play against aince your always guessing where he'll be teleporting in the map he could be
-gettung ready to obliterate your jungle
-having the most devious map pressure
-giving anxiety to every lane

I played Lou Yi and had a Chip teammate so of course we basically dominate with double portal & teleport. We were everywhere

Also, this hero will force people to be more map aware. Especially if he is one of your allies.
He seems decent
He can be used for spawn killing bait when he uses the ult to like spawn kill the enemy hero when they get out of the portal
He is not very damaging and you can ignore him and focus on other stuff
Chip basically summons whole Avengers with his ult😂
Right now, the only one that I can think of that might be able to soft counter-engage Chip is Lou Yi. Like, bait Chip and his teammates to engage one of your allies then use Lou Yi's ultimate to surprise their backline.
if yall are surprised by how op chip is, theres a hero in aov that exist wayy before him and has something chip doesnt.
Its an INSTANT teleport to the base and returning back to a combat point if u manage to get in time to her portal. Go look up the hero, Rouie in AOV
I would suggest adding thunderbelt, the slow and true damage from 1 and 2nd skill basic attack helps alot

Honestly when u have good chip in ure tm u don't rly need to think bout rotation which is kinda insane, I mean imagine early game, being an exp laner who just cleared his wave, tp pops up, u tp to the other side of the map to help kill their mm, jngl or whoever or whatever u gotta deal with and after that u casually tp back when another wave arrives. Rn I can think of so many examples but prolly all of em have one thing in common for sure - the pressure is over the roof for enemy tm.
Not sure if this was mentioned but the enemy can attack the portal as well. Not sure if it’s the “minion” or “tower” button. And the portal is also open at the base. In that 15 seconds of the portal is opened, you may have time to regen then use the portal to go for team fight.
I don't like using him but the game is definitely easier with him around.
I recently got a maniac using Miya thanks to chip's game changing ult.
Yah he's OP. Try also doing 2nd skill then come near enemy, 1st skill then do the basic attack. This will trigger multiple stun with his passive. His 2nd skill have 2 phase. Try to abuse it for now 😊
Also he has a mini stun which really helps sometimes

i feel like chip will be a good addition to the pro scene meta. i can already imagine good teams like ONIC and APBR (as well as BLCK, AURA, MNNE, GEEK) dominate whenever Chip is available for grabs

Truly, if the tank is playing chip and he knows what he is doing, when to go in or open portal it so actually so beneficial for the team. One reason i can say this is i was able to make so many epic plays using mellisa in different matches, even one of my Maniac was due to our team chip!!
Chip can hyper and tank easily. And his ult is just wow. Can bring whole team as backup anytime .
Chip can be an burst mage (his 1st and 3rd skill deals like 120% of his mp kek)also his second skill is so op for running away

Chip is actually a pretty good roamer, and quite tanky as well, his utility is incredibly high, though having bad teammates will make him useless.

My only problem with chip is the high damage, and that whenever a portal spawns or I use it, I lag a lot. Some good nerfs would be a sound indicator when he uses his extra skill, and main portal having some deploy delay?
Reminds me of the old 5 ppl Johnson car ride. Chip skills are too op; the dev should make him a teleporter or speed and cc only tank.

Whoever says he needs a nerf need to learn how to play a moba game. His ult already have a delay since the gate is going to be behind teammates and can be destroyed and can easily be countered with the enemy team who has a better set up. Is soloq he is bad, and in 5 men he is predictable. He is squishy, and easy to kill.
Nah only the portal ulti is destroyable.. just removed 4 beacon and replace it by pure teleportation skill so he can bring his whole team anywhere in the map.. CD is 50s

High cc and AOE heroes can counter him
I feel like they should've just added the teleports on Allies side instesd of enemies to make it less broken.
