नमस्कार Parminder ji. Certainly useful program for radio listeners. One major difficulty comes when tuning on analog radio is non detection of frequency which is desired. For me also first I tune that frequency on my d109 and search that music on analog radio in that band. Please elaborate on this point in your upcoming videos for analogue radio users.

FM stereo ka signal 3 km duri ke FM station se bhi clear nahi milta hai mono mode par Clear milta hai, kya kaaran ho sakta hai? Kya stereo signal ke liye terrace par antenna lagana padta hai kya ?
Dekhiye Stereo FM signal ko pakadne ke liye jyada bandwidth ka signal pakadna padta hai Radio ko isliye noise bhi jyada pick ho jata hai. Baaki aap oonchi si taar laga kar Radio ke whip antenna se jod kar fir dekhein, signal achha aa jayega. Abhi aapke Radio ko signal to noise ratio achha nahin mil raha. Aapke ghar ka aur aas pados ka electrical noise jyada pick ho raha hai.

One good day, I was simply surfing the TH-cam videos and came across one of Pravinder Ji's video, which I watched. I found Pravinder Ji to be a very simple, honest and straightforward soul. Pravinder Ji had the wisdom, knowledge and deep understanding of the subject he was talking on. He spoke with confidence and in a language (mix of Hindi & English) the general public could easily understand and follow - He was different from the rest. He believed in सीधी बात, no बकवास. And that inspired me to join the "Pravinder Sheoran" channel. BTW, this is the one-n-only TH-cam channel I post my comments/thoughts. Then, I found another good and knowledgeable soul, and that's YOU Harshi Ji. I found you to be deeply involved on this channel and your love for SW Radio listening. It in itself a lifetime achievement for a Die Hard Radio Listener. You yourself hold a plausible and vivid memories from Golden Era of Radio when the sky was the limit to tune and listen plentiful of Radio Broadcasts not only from our motherland but also from overseas Broadcasters to India. And likewise, you also experienced a steady decline in these transmissions with time and technical advancements as we progressed further. I, being a millennial from late 90s is a complete novice to Amplitude Modulated Transmissions. Be it Medium Wave or Shortwave Bands. Honestly speaking, it's only been three months that I got into MW and SW! It's all because of Shri Pravinder Ji's channel his offerings. I tried to develop the taste for AM Transmissions and now, the scenario being, I hardly listen to FM Band. Though I've been listening Radio since my school days (Mostly FM) but with huge hiatuses here and there it's almost after five years, I picked up this beautiful hobby again. All thanks to Shri Pravinder Ji. I immensely enjoy reading and liking your comments and the insights that you hold and share here with all of us. It's only after a significant amount of time and dedication one can attain this level and mastery. With whatever there's left in Shortwave to cherish, Shri Pravinder ji along with his straightforward offerings and my microscopic contribution embedded tried to share with everyone here. Dear Friends, On a different note. Those who are interested in SW Radio listening as well as SW DXing, here are a few tips (based on MY personal experience) that will help in pulling-in distant as well as weak SW stations including HAM. So here we go:- Choose a radio, preferably an Analog radio with digital dial readout. IMO, till date, an analog radio is much better when compared to a DSP based radio. In this regard, others may have a totally different opinion, but that's OK. 😊 (a) The SW based radio must have good Sensitivity, Selectivity and Band Spread with Fine Tuning. (b) It must have an External Antenna Jack/Socket with Earth Connection. Also it must have continuous adjustable RF Gain control with Bandwidth selection. (c) A good independent Earth connection is a must. This can be done with just a 2 feet long copper spike/tube (of any diameter). Push it down about 1.5 feet in the ground and pour about 2 liters of water around the spike for better conductivity. Attach a copper wire to the spike. Connect the other end of the wire to the radio's earth. That's it. You have an instant quality Earth connection. NEVER connect the radio to house electrical ground connection. Avoid connecting it to house water pipe. People do suggest water pipe to be used as earth connection, but I have a different opinion. To understand how effective and important an earth connection is for AM Radio (SW & MW) listening, I suggest you checkout the 4:24 Minute long video titled - "Antenna + Ground". The author's name is 'Blog or Die!'. See for yourself how effectively a ground connection works. Please Note: In technical terms, Ground Connection and Earth Connection are two different terms and meanings. Check it out on TH-cam. (d) A good outdoor Antenna is also a must. For SW receiving/listening purpose, you just need a simple 100 feet long random wire (pure copper wire) antenna. Such antenna's work very well. No need of those expensive complex gimmicky antennas. (e) As far as possible try and eliminate atmospheric and RF/EMI noise around the radio. There are various means/methods of getting rid/partially eliminating the NOISE. Checkout TH-cam. (f) For tuning-in/listening to faint voice/sound/signals, a good quality over the ears Headphones is a must. Well, with the above rig, you are all set to listen to distant SW signals. IMO, SW DXing is a wonderful hobby. For the serious DXers, the best possible radio is the one recently reviewed by Shri, Pravinder Ji - It's the Tecsun BCL3000. It's equivalents is the Grundig/Eton S-350DL. Avoid the BCL2000/Grundig S-350. This radio satisfies all the requirements I have mentioned for long distance SW listening/ DXing. You might have any make/brand SW radio (cheapest to the most expensive), but to get the best of it, you need a good random wire antenna and a good independent earth connection. You can then listen to many distant SW stations worldwide. And of course, must reduce the NOISE factor around the radio.

Build quality se compromise kar sakte hain to Pagaria 5 Band Creta le lijiye aur agar price aur SW band se compromise kar sakte hain to Panasonic RF 562 le lijiye. Certainly useful program for radio listeners. One major difficulty comes when tuning on analog radio is non detection of frequency which is desired. For me also first I tune that frequency on my d109 and search that music on analog radio in that band. Please elaborate on this point in your upcoming videos for analogue radio users.

FM stereo ka signal 3 km duri ke FM station se bhi clear nahi milta hai mono mode par Clear milta hai, kya kaaran ho sakta hai? Kya stereo signal ke liye terrace par antenna lagana padta hai kya ?
Dekhiye Stereo FM signal ko pakadne ke liye jyada bandwidth ka signal pakadna padta hai Radio ko isliye noise bhi jyada pick ho jata hai. Baaki aap oonchi si taar laga kar Radio ke whip antenna se jod kar fir dekhein, signal achha aa jayega. Abhi aapke Radio ko signal to noise ratio achha nahin mil raha. Aapke ghar ka aur aas pados ka electrical noise jyada pick ho raha hai.

One good day, I was simply surfing the TH-cam videos and came across one of Pravinder Ji's video, which I watched. I found Pravinder Ji to be a very simple, honest and straightforward soul. Pravinder Ji had the wisdom, knowledge and deep understanding of the subject he was talking on. He spoke with confidence and in a language (mix of Hindi & English) the general public could easily understand and follow - He was different from the rest. He believed in सीधी बात, no बकवास. And that inspired me to join the "Pravinder Sheoran" channel. BTW, this is the one-n-only TH-cam channel I post my comments/thoughts.
Then, I found another good and knowledgeable soul, and that's YOU Harshi Ji. I found you to be deeply involved on this channel and your love for SW Radio listening. That further encouraged me to pen my thoughts/opinion, which I did and will continue to do so. BTW, I'm an old time SW radio freak - In 1955, I began listening to Radio Ceylon - Binaca Geetmala. Very sadly today there is no Geetmala nor the legendary Shri, Amin Sayani Ji. Those nostalgic memories of yesteryears will remain with me forever. Thank you Harshit Ji for being part of this channel.

It in itself a lifetime achievement for a Die Hard Radio Listener. You yourself hold a plausible and vivid memories from Golden Era of Radio when the sky was the limit to tune and listen plentiful of Radio Broadcasts not only from our motherland but also from overseas Broadcasters to India. And likewise, you also experienced a steady decline in these transmissions with time and technical advancements as we progressed further. I, being a millennial from late 90s is a complete novice to Amplitude Modulated Transmissions. Be it Medium Wave or Shortwave Bands. Honestly speaking, it's only been three months that I got into MW and SW! It's all because of Shri Pravinder Ji's channel his offerings. I tried to develop the taste for AM Transmissions and now, the scenario being, I hardly listen to FM Band. Though I've been listening Radio since my school days (Mostly FM) but with huge hiatuses here and there it's almost after five years, I picked up this beautiful hobby again. All thanks to Shri Pravinder Ji.
I immensely enjoy reading and liking your comments and the insights that you hold and share here with all of us. It's only after a significant amount of time and dedication one can attain this level and mastery.

Dear Friends,
On a different note. Those who are interested in SW Radio listening as well as SW DXing, here are a few tips (based on MY personal experience) that will help in pulling-in distant as well as weak SW stations including HAM. So here we go:-
Choose a radio, preferably an Analog radio with digital dial readout. IMO, till date, an analog radio is much better when compared to a DSP based radio. In this regard, others may have a totally different opinion, but that's OK. 😊
(a) The SW based radio must have good Sensitivity, Selectivity and Band Spread with Fine Tuning.
(b) It must have an External Antenna Jack/Socket with Earth Connection. Also it must have continuous adjustable RF Gain control with Bandwidth selection.
(c) A good independent Earth connection is a must. This can be done with just a 2 feet long copper spike/tube (of any diameter). Push it down about 1.5 feet in the ground and pour about 2 liters of water around the spike for better conductivity. Attach a copper wire to the spike. Connect the other end of the wire to the radio's earth. That's it. You have an instant quality Earth connection. NEVER connect the radio to house electrical ground connection. Avoid connecting it to house water pipe. People do suggest water pipe to be used as earth connection, but I have a different opinion. To understand how effective and important an earth connection is for AM Radio (SW & MW) listening, I suggest you checkout the 4:24 Minute long video titled - "Antenna + Ground". The author's name is 'Blog or Die!'. See for yourself how effectively a ground connection works.
Please Note: In technical terms, Ground Connection and Earth Connection are two different terms and meanings. Check it out on TH-cam.
(d) A good outdoor Antenna is also a must. For SW receiving/listening purpose, you just need a simple 100 feet long random wire (pure copper wire) antenna. Such antenna's work very well. No need of those expensive complex gimmicky antennas.
(e) As far as possible try and eliminate atmospheric and RF/EMI noise around the radio. There are various means/methods of getting rid/partially eliminating the NOISE. Checkout TH-cam.
(f) For tuning-in/listening to faint voice/sound/signals, a good quality over the ears Headphones is a must.
Well, with the above rig, you are all set to listen to distant SW signals. IMO, SW DXing is a wonderful hobby.
For the serious DXers, the best possible radio is the one recently reviewed by Shri, Pravinder Ji - It's the Tecsun BCL3000. It's equivalents is the Grundig/Eton S-350DL. Avoid the BCL2000/Grundig S-350. This radio satisfies all the requirements I have mentioned for long distance SW listening/ DXing.

P.S. You might have any make/brand SW radio (cheapest to the most expensive), but to get the best of it, you need a good random wire antenna and a good independent earth connection. You can then listen to many distant SW stations worldwide. And of course, must reduce the NOISE factor around the radio.
Narendra ji, what a great write-up. A must read for SW Dxers or wanna-be Dxers. Eliminating Noise and properly using Antenna are two utmost efforts one must do.
