Awesome review. Here is my experience regarding Safety. I had the 2020 C300 Cabriolet through my husband’s employee program (he works for Daimler). Last week he totaled the car in a horrible accident when he missed a turn and rolled down a hill, and the car flipped upside down while still going down hill. He was not injured, not even a scratch on his body, like nothing happened. From a safety standpoint, I give it 10/10. We just ordered the same one, but 2021. Can’t wait to ride a convertible again. I had many BMWs in the past, but OMG I am impressed with this Mercedes.
When it’s comes to safety I wouldn’t buy anything but a Mercedes when I was younger my older brother flipped an 06 e class same thing no scratches or nothing and that’s a car from 06 cars have only gotten better when it’s comes to safety
Thank you for sharing, the stigma of ‘convertible not safe’ still thrives and it takes stories like yours to educate. I feel as safe in the cabriolet as I do in my truck or suv.
I have a 2018 c cab, which is built on the same W205 platform as this 2021, minus a few changes after the 2019 refresh. Engine feels more powerful than it is imo due to torque coming in around 1300 rpm and is buttery smooth. I get about 29 mpg in a mix of Sport and Comfort modes. The interior features really hit the mark between ‘tech enough’ / ‘not tech intrusive’, especially when it comes to a top down wind in the hair drive, you want to be connected to the experience, not the screen. Classic styling with the vents and analog dash, great use of lines and colors that will stand the test of time. I’ll admit figuring out how to best use the trunk space took time but I can say all the golf clubs + extra bag fit. The W205 imo is the most refined C Class in modern Mercedes history and the cabriolet is the best non-AMG way to experience it.
For the budget it is the best value. Fully loaded C class is a great year round car. Great for the city traffic ,parking and super highway cruiser. I drove +700 miles on the Rt 80 from nyc to Chicago and does not feel tired after the trip. Has the latest safety electric and it does look expensive since C ,E & S class has the same design.
Nice review! Owned a coupe version for 4 years. High speed stability is created by slightly auto braking the rear pads. So they will always wear first. I sold it because of the potential piston 1 crack issues some owners are reporting on forums for the M274 engine. Chrome plastic will bubble up and auxiliary battery will fail. Get the C450/C43 V6 or C63/C63S V8, not this shared inline 4 turbo Infiniti motor.
Will the C Class coupe and cab get discontinued when the redesign hits the showrooms, rendering the C Class coupe and cab as now or never cars along with the SLC and S Class coupe and cab?
I just wanna fall asleep in that interior haha lookin like a five star hotel on wheels. I kinda wish there was a higher-performance variant available in this exact styling, but for a daily it looks fantastic. Great vid!

Yea GLC300 is nice far more practical and roomy, I did a review on one if you want to check it out. But C300 does drive and handle nicer but sacrifices on practicality and I am referring to the sedan
Imagine buying that car and then pulling up next to a silver Audi S5 cabriolet with plush red leather, which costs the same amount but sprints to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. Imagine the utter disappointment and humiliation...
Yea no that's just a fantasy "car people" have like they're going to pull up in their fill in blank dream car next to their ex and smash off....no reality of driving is you will never pull up to your ex instead you will be doing 15 mph under the speed limit in your "S5" behind some Granny while a Grandpa is hogging the left lane. If 0-60 is your only metric of deciding what a good car is you will be very disappointed in all your car purchases.

I would absolutely consider this car, but right now I drive said S5, which is why I’m perhaps a little biased. :) And I absolutely agree that car bliss is not all about 0-60 times. Your point is well taken in that regard.
Yep cars are def super subjective they are like beds although with the increase of selfish crap drivers it is beginning to become more difficult to enjoy really any car
@@MeynMotorGroup Kevin, I’ve never had so much fun driving as I’ve had with the S5. You mentioned in your recent Miata review how that car is pure fun without the unnecessary pomp and circumstance of some high end cars. My S5 may have a little bit more pomp than the Miata, but I would argue that it brings just as much fun factor, maybe more because of the drop top. You should review mine! Lol.
Oh yea Audis are a very unique driving experience they don't get enough credit for bringing in a lot of the BMW dynamics without the crap ride quality and they feel the most solid out of it's German competitors. Audi nailed it in making a satisfying street car, enjoy!
When they say best or nothing they are def talking about that S Class but all the other models are great for being obtainable and to flex in because nobody knows any better 😆
@@MeynMotorGroup Big facts bro 😂🤣 I've always liked the E class from back in the day a C class not so much lol my ex had I think it was a 2008 C300 and it was rather bland it had the star on the roof which I always prefer first think that always show the best swag on a Mercedes but ain't going to lie when I drove it for the first time it was bland and i use to borrow it all the time just to drive a Mercedes car for the first time and I had the 2002 buick lesabre and I would give her my car for her to go to work in lol but one hand washed the other because I let her and her son live with me
It’s definitely swagged out for a C300 lol very nice bro I would whip it but I’d feel like a clown literally in that car I think would have to drive with the top down which I’d feel weird lol and wouldn’t want all the attention
2021 and this interior is still previous generation? It's a shame we have to wait for the 2022 version, A-Class has basically a much better interior than this (although with some creaks in the dash)
People who say that never end up buying anything in 2022 when the new one comes out the same people will say they'll pic that up in 2 years for half the price...it never ends just lease it today and drive a new car
