Lovely rendition of this oh so very beautiful and magical Jethro Tull song! Wow, you make it sound so lovely, folky, rustic! I can almost hear the leaves rustling in these ancient English forests still as I listen to this! sttgaegoaktd
A beautiful earthly rendition of a beautiful evocative song. Its our tradition to play this song in the car as we approach Glastonbury town, building the atmosphere for the magical place. Might have to play your version next time, feels even more appropriate
First Jethro Tull song I ever heared a half a century ago! It was on the radio, and was very catchy for me because of vocal lines ( Ian's way of singing) It was in former Yugoslavia, and we couldn't buy such a record, so I've got impression JT is some english folk band.........until I heared Aqualung! Your cover is not sloppy at all......it's exellent in fact!!! Maybe can sound even better on 12 string guitar?
KUDOS, Andrew, etc., for an exceptional set of covers, esp. "Witch's Promise" - remarkable job of one of my favorite Tull numbers!! Also checked out your original stuff too - enjoyed it . Keep up the hard work - it'll pay off !! Your flautist is excellent, and u have a very nice voice. Thanks for exposing me - LOL - judi
I've heard sloppy, and not so sloppy - and this is neither. This is a superlative tribute. But I know - the musician's ear always hears more than the listener's; the player plays, the audience only listens.
One of Anderson's best, poetic and melodic, sung and played with conviction.
Well done indeed! Bravo.
Excellent version Thank You 1:43
thank you for listening
Excellent tribute - well-played indeed; Nothing sloppy about it.
Finest Regards from a Jethro Tull / IA fan of over 50 years.
Fantastic cover of an epic song.
Absolutely brilliant! First time I've actually understood all the words! Many, many thanks!
thanks. when i listened to this as a teenager there were any number of miss-heard lines so you weren't alone
Nailed it!

well done, pal: vive Jethroooo!!!!
Where do you live, I would love to hear this live from you!!! AMAZING!!
I appreciate that a lot! I've somehow found myself here in LA
There is no band like JT and it is very difficult to play cover songs of JT that stay close to the JT spirit but this cover does it all
Well, by golly!
Emotioning✨
Great video

Very nice! How many tracks on the flute?

Good job. It does sound a bit weird not being played Capo 3.
Can you give me the notes on the flute for the intro please?
whadaya reckon this song is aboot then?
ha ha. I don't think even Ian knows for sure.
its about a chick who has guys kid and don't treat it well. He is the green man thingy and the baby is out in the rain?@@andrewtisbert106
