Thanks for this. Your Woodland Scenics town looks good. I'm planning a layout on my dining room table and there will be one intersection with four "blocks", one at each corner. I'll be using Woodland kits to give it a Mayberry like look. Yours shows me how it might appear and a few ideas. I thought I might skip the cutting in of the concrete sections but, seeing yours, I think they are a must. Thanks again.
You’re welcome and congratulations for getting into the hobby 👍 thanks for checking out my videos and any questions at all anytime just send me a message.
Well my Brother the layout looks awesome with the syrene sidewalks and the lighting as I have always said a man with many talents 😉 there's nothing you can't do as always it's a treat too see the projects that you concur and achieve and with that great enthusiasm you make this so much fun and very easy too do keep them coming 😊 and have a great week My Brother
Hi Sean, Those foam pads work great to simulate concrete for buildings and roads , yours came out excellent. Lighting of buildings is always a plus , nice update 😎 Darrell
Hi John thank you so much I really appreciate it. I’m glad I seen your comment because that reminded me! I need to get over to your channel and see how your progress is doing thanks buddy 👍😃
Christopher you read my mind thanks for watching buddy I’m looking for some Halloween decorations for the town I got some ideas 😃👍 thanks for your comment 👍
This looks great. Thanks for showing this. I'm collecting pieces for a layout on my dining table, but it will need to be temporary. I have one intersection with small groups of buildings on each similar to the single row of building that you have. I too, thought about "concrete islands" where I could glue everything down for easy removal for storage like you have done. Buildings, people, benches, (non)working lamp posts, fire hydrants, etc. all glued in place. Now that I've seen yours, I can better envision how mine (hopefully) might turn out. As it will be removable for storage, I am also considering grassy islands with trees and overgrowth to fill in open spots for small forests. What thickness of styrene did you use? It looks to be the right thickness. Thanks again for the inspiration.
Hi Danny, thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it, let me see if I can find out the diameter and I’ll get back with you. Thanks for watching and your comment 👍😃
@@seanpacificrailroad3700 cool, I work Saturday thru Monday’s but I’m off next Sunday and Monday, I’ll be out of town for a week, hope to see you soon, I know Matt is closed the entire Month of October

Hi thanks for the comment I so appreciate it, the cafe lite is from Miller Engineering website or they may have one on eBay. The building is a kit from DPM 😄 thanks for watching 👍
I appreciate it so much thank you 🙏 OK so the package from the sheets says 040” Thick ( 1 0 mm) Now the packaging is a little worn out but I think it’s 1.0 mm it looks like a 10 but the zero is further away from the One like this (1 0) on the packaging😃 and as far as the sidewalk spacing I just eyeballed the lines lol 😂
