Firstly because the lady detective in Delhi confesses that she charges a fee hike which is exploitation of the client(s) and secondly because from the judicial point of view as it is illegal and the person who is spying can face legal action if he/she gets caught.

It is just that the people in an arranged marriage don't usually have a choice to leave. They are often forced to stay in terrible relationships and sometimes threatened.

Depends on the area where she goes....for example, I've been to small towns in south India where many Muslim women are covered from head to toe in the black burqa. Even in Bangalore, I recall passing by a Muslim neighbourhood where every adult woman was wearing the full black burqa , including hiding their faces.
