- Carve Bridgestone B250 in its original shape. Just for art and an activity when you bored. Throw it in the trash after you finish. Or this is just an example how to regroove with homemade tools. Keep using regroovable tires.
This tool is traditional and manual without electrical components. We don't need to buy, and just make it at home by yourself.

Это просто очень качественная и толстая и жёсткая резина, у меня такая прошла за 8 лет 131т.км, и я её поменял, хотя ещё до отметок контроля ещё 1мм есть. Таких сейчас шин износостойких не делают.

Regroovable tires were on the cabs that I drove in the '90's and they worked fine. These have a lot more work being done to them, and it is being done for FUN. He said it in the desciption !

There has to be a mark on the side that says " regroovable" . And tyres like this dont have that mark and are not suitable to be regrooved, yes this is very dangerous and illegal

By doing this, you have removed a layer of tire seam, which is dangerous for drivers and road users, and the tire may explode at any moment.
This would be fine for around town use, not for high speeds and high heat. The strength of a tire is in the belts. Ive seen people cut thru 2 layers of belt and still drive on the road without "exploding". I've also had a 13 year old "full-size" spare that never was out of the trunk EXPLODE in 10 miles @ 65 MPH (105 KPH) so tire AGE is important too.
this is the secret that no tire company wants us to know. You never actually need new tires, you can just keep putting in more grooves
Absolutely, they never tell us that it comes with infinite amount of rubber when new

Trying to carve grooves for the rubber side of a case I am making.
Perfect tool idea, but I think I will include an old soldering iron I have laying around in my build. (Less sturdy but more constant heat, and I can always try to find a way to "beef it up" if needed.)

isnt this illegal? that tyre is EOL , unless you did track racing or drifting and got them worn down new, the rubber is probably old it doesnt matter if you regroove it can develop cracks anytime now and explode....

I have seen them put a car on it's roof so they can repair a transmission, then banging on the roof to put it flat when it's over...

@@michaelmedina8304 sure !! When the inner steel and kord is still covered with a good layer rubber the tyre is perfectly safe to drive. I noticed that the better score a tyre has on gas consumption the less rubber is keeping the tyre together after the grooves are worn out and nobody complains abouth that...
