when i use fsr frame gen my fps jump from 45ish to 60 plus are there any down sides to frame gen i also dont like using fsr or dlss on 1080p games cause native rocks
*about CPU bottleneck...* First of all, you don't determine a CPU bottleneck by looking at CPU usage. That's now how it works since games can't usually use all of the cores fully. Assuming there's no FPS cap in software then you look at the GPU usage. Thus: a) 80% GPU usage almost certainly means a CPU bottleneck b) 80% CPU usage (on its own) tells you nothing (If I had double the cores it could drop near to 40% CPU usage and the game might run the same) As you may know by now, Digital Foundry suspects there may be a BUG causing extra low CPU performance with the Ryzen 3000 series as the relative performance vs CPU's like the Ryzen 5000 series doesn't make sense. So if that gets fixed then the GPU USAGE drops might go away. So if you drop to 80% GPU Usage now and get, say, 50FPS in that location it may go to about 63FPS. (100/80 x 50 = 62.5)

i gotta ask since it's not just me, is it the cpu that's the actual problem or no? i mean i only get 80 percent gpu usage on certain locations but most of the locations it's decent. i have the same spec but with 32gb of ram instead of 16 since i thought that was the problem and cheapest to upgrade
This gpu and cpu is trash for this game, need 16gb card, unless you’re cool with all the textures looking like melted blurry wax, no thanks, I’m not here for that experience, give me native ultra settings above 60fps

play the game on Medium/High with FSR3, problem solved for pure 60fps in 1080p...

when u play warhammer 40k space marine? this game is very cpu intensive so with 3600 u take 80% cpu load and bottleneck

apparently there are also issues with game so hope they improve cpu and gpu usage in this game
