I am an old guy, grew up in the 70s-80s. We used to call 'squarebody chevys' were made from 1973 to 1979. In 1980, the front end parts changed and they had different sheet metal on the front (hood fenders etc.) At 1:00 , on your blazer, you can see the front fender slopes toward the grille. This would mean that early 80's Chevrolets were NOT squarebodys. Not sure why people call all Chevrolet/GMC trucks from 1973 to 1987 squarebodys. Someone missed passing down to the younger generation what a squarebody really is.
