Putting these aftermarket grips on a very nice example of an Egyptian Military Helwan variant is an absolute Sin. Those Grips belong on an exported Surplus Beretta M1951 only , if even that?. The Egyptian Helwan and Iraqi Tariq II are copies of the Beretta 1951 built under License from Beretta but share No markings with one another. The Military Helwan marked with A.R E. ( Arab Republic of Egypt )On the Slide is built to the same standard as it's Beretta cousin. The Helwan Brigadier made for the commercial export market is a poorly made piece of junk regarding heat treatment and fitment shortcomings. They deserve to mistreated. A cool piece of Arabic Military history deserves to be left in tact and appreciated . You don't see them everyday.
agree with you that this piece has many prblems espcially in smoothness and trigering sense , but the new one is tottaly different and better than this one, it's the same like beretta 92 , but called ( modified helwan mod 920 ) in egypt , helwan factory started to make it at the start of 1990s i think , it's double action, double stack , mag size 15 + 1, 17 , 21 bullets , model 51 egypt start to manufacture it at 1951 , both are under licence of beretta
هذا سلاح مصري جميل معروف في العلم العربي

Precio y donde la puedo comprar
Where can I get a set of those wood grips
I bought it on Ebay.
😊❤
I had one of these with black plastic grips ..super jammer
You mean it jammed a lot ?
👍
that mag release
Looks like the Pharaohs have got a Beretta License for this more or less Colt 1911 based Egyptian Beretta 9mm pistol version.
The Beretta M1951 shares nothing with a Colt 1911.
The 1951 does borrow from the Walther P38 however.
😊😊
