I was raised in a Christian home but never learned how to Bible study or dive deep into learning the word. I’m 30 now and am recently coming back to my faith, I’m starting with the basics with my children reading The Jesus Storybook Bible. I look forward to taking your course. Thank you for being such a light of inspiration. I would love to hear your tips on finding a good church home.
I agree with the person who said your passion for the word is contagious. I feel like I am diving deeper than ever before and my relationship with him is better than ever. Best part is that I know it gets even BETTER! 🙌
ADHD tip - I read the word and listen to the same translation on youtube. Having multimodal input keeps me more focused. When My brain drifts off listening I am reading and when I drift off reading, I'm listening. It is draining because of the intensity of the experience but this really works for me.
I started a Bible course that has the audio and written version of the lectures and I found that I can keep up with the reading much better like that. I didnt REALISE it until I read your comment but it makes so much sense! Thank you! ❤❤😂
This year is the first time I’m reading the ENTIRE bible. (I’m Catholic and 48 🙈) I decided to read it in chronological order. I’m a few books away from the New Testament….and I’m not going to lie, I’m excited to get there. But, I’m definitely enjoying the process. 🙏🏻❤️
It's absolutely heartwarming to see your comments, ladies! It's not so common to see people still nurturing their curiosity and thirst for better knowledge of God as life goes on. You're amazing! ❤
Faith, this is a great video. I would totally buy a Study Bible if you produced one. I truly have appreciated your tips and recommendations. I even purchased “The Bible Knowledge Commentary.” It was a great help in writing my last sermon.
I am absolutely LOVING your videos!! I have been looking for someone who studies into the nitty-gritty details and doesn't hold back, similar to how I like to study my Bible as well. You are on fire for God and it shows girl!! You're an inspiration to me as a young Christian woman 💜💜
I wished that I came across this video a year ago when I came into faith & was thirsty for the word. Luckily, I found other girls who are just focused on studying their bibles & they all recommended to start with the gospel. I’m very happy to find this page because I want to continue my self studies to increase my knowledge of the Bible 🙌👍🤙
So grateful God inspired you to start this channel, and for leading me to it! Just wanted to share my experience sense finding it, long read sorry 😅 I scoured a few local thrift shops/used book stores and found my first Bible commentary (single edition, until down the line I feel ready to dive in/invest in Matthew Henry’s set) My first bible dictionary, a few bibles I’ll use to study in (highlight and note galor) and even found a concordance! All for like $8! Anybody like me who doesn’t have the financial freedom for Amazon or Christian book stores, I pray the Lord will lead you to the resources that will help you study and commune :)
This was a wonderful video!! I have read my Bible for 30 years but I’m struggling this season. This video reminds me why I love my God and how important discipline is Thanks for the excitement again!! ❤
Thank you Faith for your exuberance on bible study. I feel i really need to understand hermeneutics, exegesis and such words before i truly know how to think about what I'm reading. I do read because I do bible study with our church and some pastors online. Some of those theological words are in the pastor's message. He will tell you what they mean, but I don't know if people really understand. I am thankful that I am still young enough (in my 70's ) to learn so many things in depth. Peace and blessings to you and your family.
Girl. I'd buy that bible so hard... Ive been praying for years to have any kind of excitement and enthusiasm for the word beyond "im supposed to like this". I kept finding people like you who just LOVE the word and i kept being so jealous that you even like reading and studying the bible.. so i kept praying for desire for His word and im just SAYING its HAPPENING!!!! Im so excited!!! Lol
Faith, I absolutely LOVE your fire and passion shown in this video (your whole channel really), thank you for continuing to spread the word and being so inspirational. May God Bless you and Keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you Peace 💜
My first time I stopped being afraid of “getting it wrong” in Bible studying was kind of a combination of a couple of things. #1. I found a version I could understand so much better and wasn’t frustrated in the basics of struggling with every aspect. At one point I actually picked up a teen Bible and a child’s Bible and realized there were soooo many different versions. After 6 different versions I found one that grabbed my heart and attention #2. I started asking myself simple questions about phrases that get thrown out in sermons and Bible studies that in my head seemed contradictory or confusing and that’s how I started getting so many AHA moments of realization. My first question to start studying ….actually start to get my spiritual toes wet was something as simple as this….. why was Jesus referred to as the son of man when in reality he was the Son of God and second was why did Jesus tell people he bestowed miracles on not to tell anybody about it? Why did they do what they weren’t supposed to do that? #3. The last was that I found a way after so many ways of taking notes that were cohesive and attainable to find. I stopped the mindset of what I “should and shouldn’t do” and stayed with core basic questions (spiritual baby formula) and didn’t beat myself up with not doing it “right” and next not caring if what I’m learning is making sense to others. The more I learn the more comfortable I am in always revamping how/what I study and am more and more aware of not doubting if I understand everything but am I understanding what I’m reading @this moment in time? I reckon it to asking for basic help regarding a question of a tech person ….. something as simple as “ I know how to answer an email but how do I START one?” This “expert” then goes on a binge of showing me 500 things that I didn’t ask and I come out feeling stupid (sometimes being treated as if I’m stupid) to just shutting down and afraid to ask again. I think this is how Satan has messed with me for many many years when it comes to understanding and enjoying God’s word. Now as I am learning more at the sound foundations of basics I find if something doesn’t set quite right in how I’m understanding it (Holy Spirit nudging) I will seek out one of my pastors to ask or guide me on how to think it through or give me comparisons. I was always so inept at approaching my pastor but one night at Wed evening service I just went up to him and asked him. He was wonderful and said it was a great question and gave some basics to consider and he emailed me info the next day to ponder and an invitation to set appt if wanted to discuss further. Huge turning point in my studying and joy. I think a lot of new Christian’s get blown out by being given too much at one time
I just found out your channel and I was waiting for this type of content. You are a big blessing for my life! Thank you for doing and sharing your calling❤
Bible studying idea: SPECS S - Sins to Avoid P - Promises to Claim E - Examples to Follow or NOT to Follow C - Commands to Obey S - Sumerize SOAP S - Scripture O - Observations A - Application P - Prayer Hope it helps!
I learned SPECK and it was awesome the K is what is there to know about God. I like the summarize added but I pretty much did that already Thanks for listing..
OMG I can't believe I'm doing it..the she reads truth front notes idea ..I'm doing it too...😮 going out my comfort zone and expanding 😜 my bible studying... thank you for ideas
I ran Cross Country (the sport) in High School and College. I always found peace and calm after a long run. This is when I was most calm and receptive.
For those saying they don’t understand what they’re reading: What an awesome God we serve and His promises are faithful & true! James 1:5-6 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting…” Just pray before you read and ask God for wisdom AND understanding as you read. He WANTS you to understand. Perhaps read from a study Bible so you can reference commentary to confirm that you are understanding. ❤️
14:40-15:33 This whole video is so good, and encouraging and inspiring. But ESPECIALLY this bit!! 🙌 Could you make a little clip of this running the race in everyday life part, that could be sharable to IG and/or FB? So often I want to share your videos where I share everything else, and I don't know how to share youtube vids to the socials. 💖💖💖💖 Thank you for all you do for God's Kingdom, and for letting God use you over and over!
I am hoping that you do create a study bible! I also joined your bible bootcamp. Thank you for all your encouragement and knowledge, I am learning so much from your videos!
On the fine tip pushing in...if you decrease your pressure, it will still write, and the nib won't retract into the pen. At least this is the case with the Sakura Micron pens. Hope this helps! 😊
You say you get some of your best TH-cam ideas while running on the treadmill, I get some of my best ideas for how I want to proceed next in my scripture journaling from watching your videos. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to being able to afford your Bible boot camp because I do think it would be a great asset in my scripture journaling and understanding God's word❤😊
The Bible will open up to you when your heart is open. Up to God. If you put it back maybe it means you’re not ready. And learning the Scriptures takes time. You build off of the study. Learning is how you grow in your walk.
Howdy. Fellow bible nerd here. I recdntly stumbled upon TH-cam channel, and I love your content. Go team! Regarding a Bible, have you considered a virtual Bible with embedded links, charts, visual aids etc? Not like Logos, but something more visually appealing, concisely structured, with embedded links. Godspeed to you my sister.
Matt Whitman did a video on how Bibles are published. He may be able to get you in contact with the people he interviewed. Also, along the line of music for studying, DappyKeys is a piano instrumental channel that plays worship songs.
the scripture that changed my life is 1 Peter 4:11-5 I ended up there during a time where I felt like a screw up and that passage just gives me so much comfort
Bic intensity dual tip pens are amazing!! And also the tombow dual tip brush pens! Both of those don’t bleed and the lighter colors of both I just mentioned can be used as high lighters!!! Happy studying!!! ❤❤❤✝️✝️✝️❤️❤️❤️
Hey Faith I was wondering if you could do a quick video on learning to teach Sunday school lessons for kids/young adults. I’m really trying to learn to get confident in my teaching ways. Please help! Thanks! ME
Any chance you’ll be giving a special or discount on bible boot camp for Mother’s Day? I bought a beautiful Bible study from a small shop and 2 days later they gave 20% off all their products for Mother’s Day 😢🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Lol I dislike when that happens to me in life! So I’m asking to be safe now 😊. Been wanting to buy it but haven’t pulled the trigger just yet
I think maybe starting a podcast with going over the New Testament and discussing what you already have notes on and taking questions and feedback from people would help you write that version of the Bible. I think it’s a great idea. I’m currently going over BIBLE IN A YEAR PODCAST very quickly but I wish he would take more time into really unpacking the word and the context/meaning/what we can take from it and so on. Thanks for your videos. I’m also trying to read and google what the heck it even is talking about so it’s frustrating.
Question 1: Where in the Bible are we told Who/What God is? Question 2: John 1:18 first statement tells us no one met God before (can Identify) but, Adam and Eve walked and talked with God in the Garden of Eden and Moses had meetings with God along with others in their rooms etc.... So how can John 1:18 first statement be true?
I have not read it so I'm not speaking from experience, but one of my friends loves the Bible that Candace Cameron Burre helped create. it's a study bible and she said it makes it so easy to understand! I think it's called the One Step Closer Bible
I have a question in one of your videos you mentioned a book called The Seven roles of the Holy Spirit by J.Lee Grady and I was wondering where I can get it? I am doing a study on the Bible app of it but I would like to get the physical book just asking?
Matthew 13: 37-39 / 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. So God is not responsible for creating sinners? However He knew Satan would rebel and temp Eve so that he can find his "black" sheep? God needed cursed ground to plant us? Any feedback or perspective would be appreciated.
Parkoo has erasable gel pens in a set of 7 colors. They’re get for journal bibles if you’re worried about writing errors and you don’t want to use a pencil.
I have a random question? I really enjoy your videos you speak so peaceful I feel like you speak to me. Anyway I’ve been searching for a church/worship place I recently moved in with my daughter. So many life changes the past 5-6 years so stressful I’m better but was so full of worry and stress. I was born a catholic went to catholic school but as soon as I graduate I stoped going to church. I have been feeling the calling sor to speak to get back to following god or the lord ( same) but not in the Catholic Church. What church do you attend ? Christian? Baptist ? Lutheran ? I have no idea of the difference. Please answer if you have time or any of your viewers answer please and thank you. I am 63 years old if that matters ❤
Hi! I encourage you to find a Bible church to attend, one that preaches God's Word. You'll have to look in your area and start visiting churches. Pray and ask God to lead you to the church he wants you to attend. You should look for a pastor who preaches from the Bible, he may take a chapter from a book in the Bible or be preachimg through a book of the Bible and break it down and have applications for you at the end of the sermon. I hope this helps!
part 1/2 Good video. One of the things that bothers me, is the "me" or "I" factor we all have. How can "I" get more out of the Bible? How can "I" be closer to God? How can "I"...?" These videos are great tips, and I don't know how to tell you how to study, but let me share some ideas. What has always fascinated me about Scripture is that it tells us the future. When we read the Bible (although not 100% chronological order) we see Genesis from the beginning to Joseph. We have the Exodus and the entrance to the Promised Land and the Law. Then all the way through the OT to the Messiah, His life, death, burial and resurrection, and ascension. Pentecost and the beginning of the Church, various letters to new believers to John in Revelation telling us about the future to eternity. This lets me know my life and all that occurs in it, whether I'm on a mountaintop or a deep valley is not random, my life is not random and Philippians 1:6 says 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;..." Whatever God has planned for you and your life will be completed whether you feel like you're stumbling and wandering around not knowing what to do or where to go. God will weave your life into an amazing testimony for Him. Be at peace in knowing He's with you every step of that journey. In the end of Scripture all of our lives will one day lead to Revelation 21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” When God declares it as "good" this is what He sees. Everything we struggle through leads to this. When Romans 8 says 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. It doesn't necessarily mean I will have a "blessed" life, or a charmed life, it means that one day it'll all lead there. That is why whenever I study Eschatology or the end-times I don't have to be bothered by what I read. I can grieve, or be sad but there is an inner peace that reminds me, that everything leads to that day, when there will be no more sorrow or pain ever again. What it also shows me is that we are moving through time. A lot of Scripture is both in the past and in the future. We know Jesus came in the first Century and died, but we also see Him say that at His 2nd Coming the Days of Noah and Lot will return as an example in Luke 17. There are many references like this. For example, we see in Genesis 2 the Tree of Life Gen 2:8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We see a tree of life in Rev 22 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. We see the forming of the nations in Genesis and we see the dismantling of them in the end. There are patterns and similarities, some are a reversal of what's happened. Exiled from the Garden, reconciled and dwelling with God in Revelation. A lot of times with Bible prophecy teachers there is a somewhat similar pattern to focus on the wars and rumors of wars, famines, etc. The focus is on what will happen and when, but do we ever ask "why?" Why does God see these things as His perfect plan? I think so many times we try to drive the bus in our walk with the LORD. If we have a question that's what we want to study and that's good but sometimes it's also good to see if there is something the LORD wants us to see and understand. Now regardless of your Eschatology whether you're a Premillennialist, a Postmilleninnialist, an Amillennialist, or a Preterist it doesn't matter. God is not concerned with our views. In fact, since this topic is covered in almost every book from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22, makes up over 1/3 of Scripture, and that there is ONLY 1 way God will unfold the future the likelihood that an of us have it right is next to impossible. So we need to be humble and not idolize our views. But we also need to hold fast once we understand the truth. When you read Scripture about Jesus we need to separate His first coming, from His 2nd Coming. The Jews believed the Messiah would come, defeat all their enemies and usher in His kingdom and the messianic age or messianic kingdom. They saw with human eyes that their enemy was the Romans, when all our enemy is death, Hades, and eternal Hell. The second death is our enemy. Rev 20. So when Jesus died and rose again humanity's greatest enemies were defeated. He did not set up His Kingdom. Many Christians say that when Jesus ascended He set up His kingdom in Heaven and is setting up His Kingdom gradually on earth now. First Jesus never ceased ruling in Heaven, He has always ruled in Heaven, and that never stopped. There are over 100 prophecies Jesus fulfilled in His first coming including dying on the cross at the exact time Daniel 9 (written 500 years before tells us) See my study here. th-cam.com/video/xqQ5jdl84sM/w-d-xo.html There is 1 rule about Bible prophecy is that what is foretold will unfold in reality. Jesus in John 13:19 19 "Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am." Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,..." "according to the Scriptures" what as written long ago unfolded in reality. So I don't want people to be afraid, and sadly, I think we are today. I don't think a lot of Christians feel like they can stand firm in their faith. There are so many views on salvation, is our salvation secure, or can we lose it? Are we predestined to Heaven or Hell? How do we know whether Jesus will come back or not, or are we already in His millennial reign or is it yet to come? Who's to say who's right? For me, I look back as far as I can go and try to piece the puzzle together. If you watched my video you can see that we have the date of Messiah's death Passover 32AD. 500 years before Jesus appeared on the scene. The prophecy says nothing about Him reigning and coming Kingdom. So in Matthew 24, Mark 13 the Disciples ask When is your Kingdom coming? There will be a Kingdom, Zechariah 14:3-4,9-16-17 3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. 4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,...And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be-“The Lord is one,” And His name one... 16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain." Sounds pretty literal to me. Has this happened yet? No. So when will it? What we know is that everything here is finite. In Mark 14:60-63 it says 60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, saying, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” 61 But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” 62 Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” 63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need do we have of witnesses? 64 You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death." This is a reference to Daniel 7 “I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed. Jesus's Kingdom when He returns will never be destroyed. (Continued in Part 2)
if I could spare $35 I would so do it. 😊😊😊 I love her content but I'm in a financial season of living paycheck to paycheck but I still get allot of information from her videos so I'm still winning. Thank you for your time and effort into doing God's work.
Make sure you sign up for Faith's emails. She does sales all the time. I got the Bootcamp when it was on sale. Also Faith just recently has a sale on her Cliffs notes. They were only $10. Trust me I get what it's like to be financially struggling. All the best!
@@naturelovinjenn7223 in one sense I get it, but folks gotta survive and many people are led by the Lord to do His Work, I mean surely you can get that and kindly remove the bitterness. It's not like she doesn't care about those who have NOTHING to spare, that's what her channel is all about, goodness, where's the grace? Unless I'm wrong, I could be. God bless
@@NicoleW_TeamJesus , her faith is lacking then. With faith we know God can and will supply for us when we are doing His will. Besides tithes, which is to support the church, church family, and those traveling to spread the Word of God, it's a big no. A fundraiser, that's even different too. I'd donate to help a fellow christian or non-christian, but to make money off Gods word.... Or what some people "think" Gods words mean, that's scary. My healthy fear of God says "NO WAY" If someone is so close to God. They would be willingly out there for FREE trying to save people. Maybe she can try getting a job to pay her bills. Or trust in God more to supply. Never failed in the bible.
@@NicoleW_TeamJesus , maybe read what the bible says about it first before acting like YOU know better than all. I read and study the bible everyday. Find me any scripture that agrees with selling God in anyway. Please, show me.
What are your thoughts on woman’s study bibles? I asked this on an older video, but just in case you don’t see it, I’d thought I’d ask here too. Thanks Faith! 😊
I’ve started writing with a mechanical pencil in my Bible so if I make a mistake or change my mind I can change it. Not always or on everything though.
The best Book I read on how to learn to study the Bible is Living by the Book by Howard and William Hendricks; I think you can find the PDF version for free.
I have this book and still use it when I need a “tune up” with my studies. It really helped me understand the Bible more and it’s not overwhelming at all. 🤓
That study Bible is such a great idea. My biggest fear is the new age stuff that is creeping in. I just want to know all the things that is true and what God wants me to know
YES. It HAS to have your name on it if you did the work on it. You just got done saying this whole thing has been male dominated. Women deserve their names on their work for the Kingdom just like a man does. I love that idea, too! What an amazing Christian life Bible that would be to have! I got an idea I was so thrilled about while jogging the other day! I'm going to pitch it to my small group leader, who isn't the biggest on small group democracy so far but I gotta try-it'd be such a cool thing to add in!
Hello, what I don’t understand if Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it why don’t people follow read Exodus 20:8-10 don’t forget Jesus was not Roman but a Jew who follow the the law.
Part 2/2 Here's some of what the early disciples of the disciples of the Apostles wrote. Now this doesn't mean they're right but we do see that it was a widely held understanding. Barnabas, AD First Century “Therefore, children, in six days, or in six thousand years, all the prophecies will be fulfilled. Then it says, ‘He rested on the seventh day.’ This signifies at the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus, He will destroy the Antichrist, judge the ungodly, and change the sun, moon, and stars. Then He will truly rest during the Millennial reign, which is the seventh day.” Epistle of Barnabas 15:7-9 Commodianus, AD 240 “We will be immortal when the six thousand years are completed.” Against the Gods of the Heathens 35 “Resurrection of the body will be when six thousand years are completed, and after the one thousand years, the world will come to an end.” Against the Gods of the Heathens 80 Victorinus, AD 240 “Satan will be bound until the thousand years are finished; that is, after the sixth day.” Commentary on Revelation 20.1-3 Methodius, AD 290 “In the seventh millennium we will be immortal and truly celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.” Ten Virgins 9.1 These excerpts are taken from Ken Johnson's book "The End Times by the Ancient Church Fathers". Great book. Now some will say that there was 4000 years between Adam and Jesus and now 2023 years so we're over they were either wrong or we're misunderstanding it. Here are 2 genealogy maps if you will from Adam to Abraham and from Abraham to Jesus. (Here's why the genealogies are important). This one assumes 4004 BC as the creation date of Adam and Eve. i2.wp.com/viz.bible/cms/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Genesis-Timeline-from-Adam-to-Abraham-1.png?fit=2198%2C1598&ssl=1 vesteabuna.thelife.one/2023/03/09/the-dead-sea-scrolls-and-old-testament-reliability/ considerjesus.thelife.today/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2023/03/Slide1-1024x371.jpg Notice that each uses B.C. a Gregorian calendar designation which is what we use today based on a solar calendar of 365.25 days per year. But that's not what the Bible uses. Genesis 7-8 Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." 2nd Month 17th Day. Genesis 8: 3 And the waters receded continually from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days (150 days) the waters decreased. 4 Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat." 7th Month, 17th Day. (5 months later =150 days means each month is 30 days) So let's assume the OT used a 360-day biblical calendar. That means from Adam to Jesus wasn't 40004 Gregorian years but was 3,946 years. Then from Jesus to us today is 2023 years. That equals 5,969 years. So applying the 6000 theory -0-1000 Day 1, 1000-2000 Day 2, 2000-3000 Day 3, 3000-4000 Day 4, 4000-5000 Day 5, 5000-5969 is 31 years shy of 6000. And this is where the discrepancy can't be reconciled. We see on the same timeline that Abraham was born 1946 years from Creation. if we see that Abraham was born 1946 years after creation and according to the Dead Sea Scrolls Abraham was born just over 2000 years before Jesus we actually get closer to 6000 years. In this timeline, it says Abraham was born (1996 BC) www.provenway.org/resurrection/how-many-years-from-abraham-to-jesus-christ.html This website says Abraham was born (1996 BC) we need to convert that to biblical years =2025 years before Jesus. So if Abraham was born 1946 years from creation + 2025 years from Abraham's birth to Jesus = 3,971 years from Adam to Jesus. From Jesus to today is 2023 (since we calculate lives based on the Gregorian calendar now) =5,994 years. (with a margin of error of 3 years for Jesus's birth) plus a final 7 biblical years for the 70th week and e come to very close to 6000 years. The point is that according to Scripture we are getting close to when the early Church fathers understood the 2nd Coming was going to occur. One of the tough things for me as a believer is to hold very loosely to this life. If we are approaching the 2nd Coming and all that will precede it then the Bible tells us that the kingdoms and nations of the earth will all end at some point. That means whatever nation we are living in right now will come to an end to make way for His Kingdom. Nations and Empires rarely go out with a whisper. We don't have to fear because the LORD is in control. However, we are to watch for Him. Fear of the unknown is a real thing. I don't want Christians to not know. For me, I want the truth, tell me like it is. If I know just how bad things are at least I can try to figure out how to fix them. The days will get harder. Your faith will be tested to its limits. But know that the LORD is in control, that everything that happens has 1 goal. Revelation 7:9-14 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,...13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?” 14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." In the darkest time, where there seems to be no hope, the LORD will save a multitude of people. That is our hope. Hopefully, this helps. Our KING is COMING SOON. Remain steadfast and trust Him. Take care.
As a newbie that is searching for the truth, how am I supposed to know who to follow. So many different religious leaders pointing fingers and name calling just because they do not agree about how old the earth is, or if the rapture will happen before or after tribulation, has me scared to trust anything. I question myself all the way down to the Bible verses, if they are true or not, or did the person that wrote that version of the Bible, twist the verse to his beliefs. I know that I need a commentary, but if I struggle with which version of the Bible to read, I will never be able to pick a commentary. I have very bad trust issues to begin with, everywhere I look I see the "boogie man" so to speak. I believe in God, and Jesus with my entire heart, because even though all the religions might disagree about when and how, they all agree that God was there. So, I am 1000% God, AMEN! Now, if I could just learn to trust HIS WORDS being translated to me, by someone else.
Wanted to add, I know the Devil is the MASTER of confusion, and he is doing this to me. I did purchase a KJV Sword Study Bible, and an ESV Study Bible. That's a beginning lol
@@ThreeGsHomeschoolKeep using that Esv study bible. Just the other day, I was talking to my friend who has that exact bible and he was saying that the study notes are from people in a variety of denominations so you hear multiple perspectives.
Please delete my comment 😅 I don't want to give anyone any ideas. Your church/location is google-searchable. Highly recommend removing references to your last name from your channel in order to protect your privacy as much as possible. The Information Age we live in is enough to make me a hermit if I think about it too hard 😂 give your fears up to the Lord and keep up the awesome work. Your resources are a blessing! Adding the clif notes to my Bible right now ❤
Wow, that was really cute. You turn off the video. See Goodbye, I love your videos and you're right. We should be telling the world about Jesus. You know, the hardest thing for me right now. Is realizing why the prophet's a lot of times ask God to take them home? Because people just do not want to hear It and how. Heartbreaking, it is to watch people reject what you know as truth and the danger that they're in by rejecting it. It's heartbreaking, it's frustrating. And angering, you just want to grab people and shake them and say wake up. I'm telling you the truth.😢
Did I answer your question? OR did I make you think of more questions? LOL

Hi, how do you bible study like you do when you cant read very well because of Dyslexia?
I was raised in a Christian home but never learned how to Bible study or dive deep into learning the word. I’m 30 now and am recently coming back to my faith, I’m starting with the basics with my children reading The Jesus Storybook Bible. I look forward to taking your course. Thank you for being such a light of inspiration. I would love to hear your tips on finding a good church home.
@@HowtoFaithALife Are Christians to keep the sabbath?
I agree with the person who said your passion for the word is contagious. I feel like I am diving deeper than ever before and my relationship with him is better than ever. Best part is that I know it gets even BETTER! 🙌
15:13 "Christian life isn't defined by a moment but is defined by a lifetime of God centered worship through living..." ❤ this
ADHD tip - I read the word and listen to the same translation on youtube.
Catholic and 30. Working towards doing the same! Good luck!
YOU GOT THIS!!! God be with you
YOU GOT THIS
Thank you! I'm going thru your Bible Boot Camp and am learning so much, even at 71!
💁♀️I’m doing the same….at 82. My two favorite words are learning and growing.
Oh, my, what if Faith could make a study Bible with all her notes in it! I would loooove that!

That will be one THICK Bible! ❤❤✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I am absolutely LOVING your videos!! I have been looking for someone who studies into the nitty-gritty details and doesn't hold back, similar to how I like to study my Bible as well. You are on fire for God and it shows girl!! You're an inspiration to me as a young Christian woman 💜💜
I’m currently getting through my Bible Bootcamp this week. Thanks you for the videos!
Working on mine, too!
You inspire me with your energy and your love for Christ. Thank you for being you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
This was a wonderful video!! I have read my Bible for 30 years but I’m struggling this season. This video reminds me why I love my God and how important discipline is
Thanks for the excitement again!! ❤
Your zeal for God is so refreshing and inspirational. Thank you, Faith for eveything you do!
You made me cry tears of joy my friend. Passion and love throughout this video ❤️🏃🏻♀️
Super excited to start your Bible Study Bootcamp!🎉
Thank you Faith for your exuberance on bible study. I feel i really need to understand hermeneutics, exegesis and such words before i truly know how to think about what I'm reading. I do read because I do bible study with our church and some pastors online. Some of those theological words are in the pastor's message. He will tell you what they mean, but I don't know if people really understand. I am thankful that I am still young enough (in my 70's ) to learn so many things in depth. Peace and blessings to you and your family.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this !! Especially the Hebrews 12 reference. Deep stuff !!
Lol
Your passion is so contagious. I love it 😊
Faith, I absolutely LOVE your fire and passion shown in this video (your whole channel really), thank you for continuing to spread the word and being so inspirational.
After 6 different versions I found one that grabbed my heart and attention

Lol I dislike when that happens to me in life!
You got to the the thrive bible it has a prayer on one page and the other page it like God is answering the question

Can you make an Amazon storefront page?🙏🏼🥰
part 1/2
Good video. One of the things that bothers me, is the "me" or "I" factor we all have. How can "I" get more out of the Bible? How can "I" be closer to God? How can "I"...?"
These videos are great tips, and I don't know how to tell you how to study, but let me share some ideas.
In the end of Scripture all of our lives will one day lead to Revelation 21
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
When God declares it as "good" this is what He sees.
For example, we see in Genesis 2 the Tree of Life
Gen 2:8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
There are over 100 prophecies Jesus fulfilled in His first coming including dying on the cross at the exact time Daniel 9 (written 500 years before tells us) See my study here.
th-cam.com/video/xqQ5jdl84sM/w-d-xo.html
There is 1 rule about Bible prophecy is that what is foretold will unfold in reality.
Jesus in John 13:19
19 "Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am."
Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,..."
"according to the Scriptures" what as written long ago unfolded in reality.
There will be a Kingdom, Zechariah 14:3-4,9-16-17
3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain."
Sounds pretty literal to me. Has this happened yet? No. So when will it?
What we know is that everything here is finite.
In Mark 14:60-63 it says
60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, saying, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” 61 But He kept silent and answered nothing.
Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”
62 Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need do we have of witnesses? 64 You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?”
And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death."
This is a reference to Daniel 7
“I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!

My healthy fear of God says "NO WAY"
If someone is so close to God.

My mom was the same way. People would ask what church we go too and she wouldn’t answer lol.
Amen!!!
When you have your BIBLE IN PRINT I WANT A COPY!!!!!
That study Bible is such a great idea. My biggest fear is the new age stuff that is creeping in. I just want to know all the things that is true and what God wants me to know
I actually read the notes fell in love but don't like translation it's in so I'm put front notes my inspire creative journaling bible...
Please add when you are talking about a scripture where in the bible it is stated in old testament and new testament within the books
As long as it furthers Gods kingdom that’s all that matters ❤
Hello, what I don’t understand if Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it why don’t people follow read Exodus 20:8-10 don’t forget Jesus was not Roman but a Jew who follow the the law.
Bi-polar, NSD.
Part 2/2
Here's some of what the early disciples of the disciples of the Apostles wrote. Now this doesn't mean they're right but we do see that it was a widely held understanding.
Barnabas, AD First Century
“Therefore, children, in six days, or in six thousand years, all the prophecies will be fulfilled. Then it says, ‘He rested on the seventh day.’ This signifies at the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus, He will destroy the Antichrist, judge the ungodly, and change the sun, moon, and stars. Then He will truly rest during the Millennial reign, which is the seventh day.” Epistle of Barnabas 15:7-9
Commodianus, AD 240
“We will be immortal when the six thousand years are completed.” Against the Gods of the Heathens 35 “Resurrection of the body will be when six thousand years are completed, and after the one thousand years, the world will come to an end.” Against the Gods of the Heathens 80
Victorinus, AD 240
“Satan will be bound until the thousand years are finished; that is, after the sixth day.” Commentary on Revelation 20.1-3
Methodius, AD 290
“In the seventh millennium we will be immortal and truly celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.” Ten Virgins 9.1
These excerpts are taken from Ken Johnson's book "The End Times by the Ancient Church Fathers".

Notice that each uses B.C. a Gregorian calendar designation which is what we use today based on a solar calendar of 365.25 days per year. But that's not what the Bible uses.
Genesis 7-8
Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened." 2nd Month 17th Day.
In this timeline, it says Abraham was born (1996 BC)
www.provenway.org/resurrection/how-many-years-from-abraham-to-jesus-christ.html
This website says Abraham was born (1996 BC) we need to convert that to biblical years =2025 years before Jesus.
Revelation 7:9-14
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,...13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”
So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
In the darkest time, where there seems to be no hope, the LORD will save a multitude of people.

@@randymarquez2714 thank you so much!
Adding the clif notes to my Bible right now ❤
I married my first boyfriend too! 😊
