As someone who does parkour, this was a good movie.
I don't think this movie got enough love. I will say the story is kind of average compared to other Anime, but I still think it's a great film and a fun story. The visuals music and sound design are some of the best iv seen in recent years.

Yeah the visuals were insane. I also loved how they played with sacred geometry concepts and repeating patterns in nature, because that's a whole thing I've been interested in for a while

Bubble was definitely a ‘showcase anime’. They do this alot with games as well. Where it not really about a good idea for a story for entertainment. Its more about showcasing the new technology thats now available on the market and/or new game engine/mechanics if its a video games. Thats why the story was average, cause its more about them showing off the new animation techniques and visuals rather than an entertaining story.
It was little mermaid the anime. Story was never gonna be the strong point

I won't lie, this movie's soundtrack is unique in the sense that my heart latched on its leitmotif like super glue.
Its melancholy, but free.
Deep, deep longing that it almost hurts, but it's why it hurts that makes it a wonderful feeling.
And you managed to keep this whole feeling, not just intact, but expounded! Wonderful work, Rush!

this is amazing! didn't think the anime was great to be honest outside of the visuals and that AMAZING soundtrack. You captured all the important leitmotifs and that sawano style while giving it your own personal touch.

@@RushGarcia I think my personal favorite songs of yours has to be ThrillSeeker, the BNA song you did, and the Blackcat orchestration which the name is evading me and it hurts because I’ve listened to it probably 100 times now. The one with the million balloons and the girl blowing bubbles.

I love this movie! I watched it on a whim with my husband and absolutely fell in love with the animation
I absolutely love this because of certain elements you slipped in. The entire composition is amazing but what moves me the most of the clear pieces of this that is the Bubble OST song "Shikisai". I couldnt help but when I heard the melody and everything visit that stop and sing. This was a feel good movie for me i went into thinking it was gonna be meh but it stuck with me and idk why. The song Shikisai however is something that lyrically touches my soul and means something that is hard to compose words for. You did this right! All in all you did a fucking fantastic job!

Firstly I'd like to say thank you for introducing me to a movie I should totally be watching. Didn't know what this was but I love this music. It's so relaxed and perfect to fall asleep to I think. I plan to look into the movie cause it sounds cool.
Secondly I've made this upcoming comment in the comment sections of your past works but those are likely years old and I don't know if you check them. This is without a better term, a request but by no means is it anything where I'm like "DO IT NOW." It's more like... "hey if you're interested, this could be cool because of ___ reason."
Seeing the name of this movie reminded me of "Bubble Tea" by Dark Cat and your orchestration. You've done multiple songs named after drinks and foods (Bubble Tea and Ramune are my personal favorites) and I just wanted to say doing an Orchestration of "Energy Drink" by Virtual riot could be a fun idea. You get another Drink song under your belt and I think you'd do it justice.
anyways, continue doing your works! You should be proud of the skills you've developed and how far you've come. Plenty of people love your interpretations and original music and you've gained well deserved respect from everyone! Keep doing what you're doing.

Never seen or herd of the origin of this song but this sounds absollutely beautiful and moving. I love all the styles in it and the whole thing feels like it's telling a story just from the melody.

Honestly, the story is kinda mid... but GOD everything else about this movie is so beautiful.

Nah he's an excellent writer too. It seems he does more "covers" than arrangements, but when he gets creative he makes wonderful pieces.
