As always, I learnt smtg from watching this family. If your children are sulking or not feeling happy, comfort them instead of just let them be. And also don't invalidate their feelings. Park Jooho paid attention to Gunhoo's feeling and wanted to listen to him and that's truly admirable.
I agree..sometimes children sulk because they want to say something but were nit given the opportunity to do so..so they sulk so that someone will take notice and ask them what they have in mind..
I remember doing that when when I was young and my parents just leave me be and went on their way..it was an unpleasant memory that we bring until adulthood..this makes us feel like we cannot talk about anything to our parents

Of course these TROS parents love their kids, but just a word of advice for y'all. Don't put idols on a pedestal, and don't put random parents on a pedestal just bc they're on TV (plus the iffy fact that they would put their kids on TV in the first place, plus monetise or exploit their kids' fame with CFs and even TH-cam vlogs by the parents with hired producers and ads, makes it a bit more complex) 😅

Ans also Anna has stated that she and Jooho are not perfect parents (commenters always write for them to write a book on parenting)
@@maplestory2723 i would not say worship them..we just pick up things about being parents that we can relate to and tips on handling kids that we can use in our daily lives..I for one is not a fan of Jooho as a parent..but this scene just made me appreciate him more

@@maplestory2723 i agree we shouldnt worship them but its sad that parents comforting or listening to their kids isnt really as normal as we thought it is. more often when kids sulk, their parents would think theyre just throwing a tantrum and when they do speak up, parents would try to correct them (as if their feelings are wrong). not to say we should put celebrities on the pedestal but its not so bad to commend them for doing what they should do.

I really admire Park Joo hoo as he listened to his kid when he wasn't feeling the mood for dancing and started sulking. If that was me and my father, I would have been scolded to death and slapped in the face for saying stop to the guests. I wish I was raised with mutual respect in the family like this
I was worried that gunhoo would get scolded after acting up like that. To my surprise, joohoo wasn't even upset or embarrassed. He comforted gunhoo, asked him what he meant by "I don't like dancing". Then explained to the guests what he wanted to do.
I am one of those people who look up to their parenting, wishing I was raised that way.
I think there's more to it than him just not being in the mood for dancing... Maybe he felt left out or something

Oh God I admire Papa Jooho the most, instead of scolding Gunhoo for sulking, he comforted Gunhoo and Asked him what he really wants to do. This kind of parenting really admire me the most. This is what every parent’s should do, instead of scolding, just asked your child what he/she really wants to do to avoid misunderstandings. Try to understand your child situations and don’t force him/her to do what what he/she don’t want to do.

@@sarabat exactly, I can't believe people believed the editing. He's a full grown adult, he never "needed" a child's (Naeun's) help. He lets her step in, he shows his failures to his kids and encourages them to fix the mistakes (when he could quite easily do it himself) because he's allowing them agency. He's not useless. He's a competent father, otherwise Anna wouldn't have had children with him as she's very competent too and believes in parents sharing responsibilities. Y'all took the "Naeun and her 3 kids" joke too far....

I think Gun Hoo got a little jealous of the attention to his sister but he didn't know how to express it because he is so young. His father and the idol's handled it really well. Uhh, I think the title is just not fair. It should be like "Gunhoo hides and watches Cha Eun Woo and MJ", instead of just Cha Eun Woo. You need to acknowledge MJ's presence too.
