I think the Octavia 2012 was a game changer considering how it came back with a bang and kept the throne for itself.

I have the 2017 split headlight one and I just love it. I know many don't like it but I fell in love the first time I saw it. Still going strong.
I love all of them. The one which I love the most is the 2017 model with the split headlights. One hell of a looker!
I guess I’m qualified to answer this, because I’ve owned every generation of the Octavia from the 1st one. The build of the first gen was the best. The drive and handling of the 2nd was the best and the luxury of the 3rd so far has been great. So it’s not so easy to choose, but if I had to judge purely based on driving pleasure, it’ll have to be the Laura for me.
I loved all but the Czech engine light.
But who am I to say that having drooled over the Octavia and then fell for the Superb. And that too with a DSG for heaven's sake.
That Octavia runs a tune. A bloody good one ! 👍

When I was a child, I loved the Octavia so much that I kept drawing pictures of the car hoping we would get one for the family. But unfortunately, it's still a dream. I hope I will own a Skoda one day.

The first generation Had a huge problem with engine cooling. The gaskets for cooling assembly got damaged often. Otherwise one hell of a car !

This car took opel Astra's game from it by providing more for the price of 10lacs . Anyway I love both cars they are legendary in their own right. This new gen octavia looks better than the upcoming Honda civic for 2022 . 😍This car will infuse some life back into the D segment sedan market or the whole sedan market in general because of SUVs launching every now and then the market has become imbalanced. This 2021-22 season will have new sedans and Hatchbacks launching again. I am excited as a enthusiast ❤🔥.

My landlord's son had the 2003 Octavia when it was newly launched, it was black and had a small spoiler at the back.
I remember just drooling over that car every time it entered or left the parking.
Didn’t we all do that at some point! 😋
The design looks great imo, although the taillights are reminiscent of Audi in a way, but I hope a manual is offered as an option at least on the base variant. It would save costs and let them give it an aggressive price, and also improve the fun to drive factor of the car imo.

I never used to understand the appeal of a german car. I was into Japanese ones. But one day, my friend got himself a second hand VW Jetta. So, obviously, I drove the car around for a bit. I fell in love. The build quality, the power, the handling it was love at first drive. From then, I have dreamt of owning a german car. After that I had a chance at driving a 3 series BMW and an octavia, I loved the octavia. I'm for sure buying one.

What a great tribute to the legends from yesteryears. Along with Honda City, only Octavia has cemented its position as a legend in sedan segment in our market. It was PDs Octavia RS video which made me love the PowerDrift so much. Looking forward to the upcoming Octavia.

I too ws in school that time, we used to rush to the next line, to see a 14 lacs car with a sunroof.. at that time 14 lacs really mattered and a sunroof ws like best feature at that time..😂
And the new Octavia will be 30L+ with no sunroof. 🤭
