    I have the Nura True Pro from the Kickstarter days. I absolutely love the sound after the tuning and immersion mode but comfort wise, they don't compare to AirPods Pro II or Sony WF-1000XM5.
    Nura had also sent a Bluetooth dongle for better connectivity to your Mac or PC which is pretty useful.
    I noticed that Denon has pretty much taken the app and released as it is.
    Thanks for the review.

    Hey Aaron, love your videos. I am retiring my sennheiser MTW 2 and I am really interested in these denon pro. I use iPhone, workout, don’t call too much and maybe suffering from hearing damage from blasting music to my years and working in festivals and clubs. Do you think denon pearl pro is a good fit for me? Maybe it can adjust around the frequency I can not hear well anymore? If not, what do you recommend? Thx

    Thanks Aaron for your fantastic work as always. I've been using the Soundcore Liberty 3 pros as my daily driver for a while now. Recently tried the Sony XM5s for a few months and found a long list of problems with it. Just checking if you and others have faced this too:
    1. The bass cuts-off on XM5s after 60% volume on native music player on my android, on TH-cam as well as Tidal.
    2. The call quality is horrible in places with some (not even extreme) background noise/chatter.
    3. The noise cancellation is average and made worse by the foam tips due to lack of proper fit in ears.
    I tried the Denon Perl Pro at a store and even after the AAT tuning, the sound was not impressive and on my snapdragon sound certified phone, it only stuck to APTX Adaptive and no way to force APTX Lossless (seems to me a marketing gimmick)
    Ultimately, I decided to order the Technics AZ 80 and will return the XM5s.

      For the people asking about the earphones.. I'm totally happy with it.. Sound quality is terrific especially with the spatial audio customised for my ears.. Earbuds fit great - I use the foam tips with the wings.. I figured the wings that protrude outwards, if you twirl them it gets locked and secured in my ear.. The battery is great and you could use it for 2 to 3 days without charging just by using the case alone for regular daily usage.. The only thing that could have been better is the ANC.. Not that it's bad but it is good but if they could match with the like Sony and Bose then it's easily the best.. But once the music is turned on, you don't hear anything else..

    Yes I agree transparency mode is not unique or good its just okay but all other ways make them one of they best earbuds overall I think if your main priority is sound quality , good functionality and having one of the best codec (aptx adaptive 24 bit with snap. sound 96,0 khz but its need to be changed in development options after pairing and also android phone must support that ) and in terms of signal strength also ;-)..just a note with super hi res codec like ldac or lhdc you still gets signal interruptions in the traffic / public so thats codecs are not as good as the aptx adaptive with good automatic adaptation in term of the signal strenght and sound quality you can get and also mentioned codecs ldac and lhdc drain your battery of your phone and earbuds almost 2 times faster that aptx adaptive does

    hey man, just got these today (denon) & i’m in love, best sound i’ve ever experienced. Can I just ask - on the pro EQ section, where have you toggled these parts to? i’ve put all mine to the top (loudest) would you recommend this or just put it to your own preferences, also do you recommend toggling on the “high gain” mode

    • @Hijynx87
      @Hijynx87 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @rossauce12
      @rossauce12 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just listen to a song you like and adjust the eq so it sounds the best.. don't worry about what someone else does.. but almost always you never max out thr eq. Usually u just boost the lows and highs a little and keep mids regular or move them up or down just a tad and dependent on how you like it. But not too much or it will sound scooped

    I returned my Jabra elite 10 and stuck with the perl pro
    I've used Nura products in the past and the perl pro after Denon took over and they always sound great but found myself looking at the Jabra elite 10 once my 85ts died
    I returned the elite 10 after 2 weeks
    ANC was almost non existent
    Sound quality was okay but nothing crazy and songs didn't feel as bright
    spatial audio made everything sound worse to the point it hurt my ears but I will say the head tracking worked good
    The app would always have issues with recognising when the elite 10 were connected but my 85Ts never had that issue
    No sound test like the 85Ts
    No Aptx support

  • @lookman7047
    @lookman7047 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    The Denon AAT is suppose to tune the sound best suited to the listener, in this case your ear. The tuning can be saved to 1 of 3 profiles. Thus are we not listening to what the AAT deem best suited to your ear? Will the sound be much different when AAT tuned to another person's ear?
    Maybe you can try to have the AAT tune to another person's ear for comparison. At least to test if AAT really can tune the sound to suit different listeners.
    This is what I understand of the advantage of the Denon.

      If you are on iOS non of these are for you sorry dude you only have access an sbc to spend 349 dollars for something that can only access the worst forms of music is utterly stupid. Just buy airpods pro 2 they makes the best music for iPhone in terms of quality anything else is just not worth it. Every feature on the denon will work like shit on the iPhone because Apple makes it so other companies don't work as well even ANC will sound like it came from 30 dollar pair of earbuds. I am buying for my hardworking husband. Jabra elite 10 or Denon Perl Pro. He loves folk and classic rock. Works with loud noises but would like the transparency to hear a person that peraon approaches. Also, which one will do better with calls in loud environment? What would the best put of the two?

    The mic sounds like it's being driven beyond it's capability, but other than that i'm impressed by the "Denons"'. Sound quality, which imho sucked out of the box, got a serious boost when using AAT. ..but: what we actually need are great sounding in ears, able to handle bad weather and wind, with good mic sound. I still run the Sony wf-1000xm4. Sound is good enough for me, but they suck when you're wearing a raincoat in the rain, and talking in windy conditions is hopeless. Two major letdowns for an otherwise good product. It annoys me to no end. ..and the MX5s are still utterly useless, judging by this video. I don't understand why Sony threw these two in ears on the market, with such horrible shortcommings, and thought "nailed it".
    Anyways: Thank you for doing what you do. Getting to hearing the in ears in use is a great help...mostly with eliminating the bad stuff so far.
