it's usually the axle. it's because they're stuck using stub-axles, and the 15-17mm stub axles bend if you look at them the wrong way. One way around it is to design a trike that uses 'fork' assemblies to encapsulate the hub without a central axle, but then you're likely going to be stuck using hub motors only. (p.s. it's not a true stub axle given that it has a central axle between wheels, but since there isn't support on the outside of the wheel it bends just like one.)
I have questions. Lots and lots of questions. 1. What type and size motor? 2. How many volts? 3. Looks like you just added a sprocket to the existing rear axle, no? Please, whatever parts you used throw them in a link. Thanks!
Where and how did you get that second sprocket on the axle, and is it 2wd? Im looking for a fat trike at the moment and throw some fishing rod holders on it for the summer. I have a 72v 3000w vevor motor and 50 amp controller laying around. Great vid man.
What motor controler and battery? How much time do you get out of it?
Type of motor information
Why is it that all these trikes always end up having bent rims? Do they come like that or is it the axle? It's just a question!
I've been wondering the same thing. Then, I remember 2 wheeling my grandma's on the way up to the corner store for a soda.

Do you have a video on how you did this?
