That's crazy, I've been going to the gym for years and I've never seen anyone bother another person at the gym for their weight or anything. My sister was fat when she first got a membership and she was so relieved at the fact that no one was paying her any attention at the gym and they all just focused on them.
Good job man. That's the thing with uptight douches, if you're not huge going in, you're gonna get slaughtered. Like bro, I'm here to get that muscle, give me time. PF is all you need bro, at least until you become the Hulk, then you may want to change. Also way cheaper for you too. Keep going my man
I go to planet fitness and I like it. There are a lot of people who are out of shape but I don’t see how that effects someone else’s gym experience. There’s also a lot of really fit people who clearly know what they’re doing. There’s also a lot of family and friends that come regularly. I think it’s a good environment for people who actually want to work out and not just be seen working out.
MimiMadness94 couldn’t agree more. I go to a brand new PF and they have quite a bit of stuff. We have battle ropes, kettlebells, plenty of bands, foam rollers...hairdryers. Just utilize what they have and make it work. You can get a great workout, but it’s all about how you choose to do that. Personally I like seeing families and people who are overweight. That’s pretty cool that they’re comfortable coming in. Most people do workout, they’re not there to just be seen. At the high end gym I went to, people just stood around.
Amen! I love our PF. I do wish they had battle ropes and kettlebells, but, hey, what they have is clean, spacious, well lit, in working order, and there is plenty of it. I don’t mind overweight and out of shape people; what the hell are gyms for? They’re for working out and getting in shape. You gotta start somewhere. We can’t all be perfect.
Sweet!, I just signed up for $5 a month for pT. So excited! Also, the girl at the desk reduced my monthly fees by $5 a month. I am VERY invested in my fitness, and Planet Fitness offers exceptional value. They hate us cause they ain't us.
Elise miller EXACTLY just started and love it I feel good and am so happy all these people in the comments say these things to try and make themselves feel good by bringing people down
He seemed more concerned about the shampoo than the equipment. Also, looking at him the 75 lb dumbbells are more than plenty for him to work up to for goals
The fact that you’re saying fitness isn’t a priority because of how much money you spend is completely ludicrous and disrespectful. They are there, and they are trying to be better. Getting to the gym is the first step. It all depends on how you utilize the equipment and get creative. You need to grow up and have some manners
in a way i agree with him i keep a planet fitness membership cause its the only gym near me open 24 hours however it is really annoying not having free weights or being fairly limited with dumbells
Priorities aren’t just about what does and doesn’t matter. It’s about how you PRIORITIZE. I’d rather spend money on a gym membership rather than other amenities or even nice versions of necessities. I’d also rather spend time on fitness rather than watching movies or other hobbies. There’s nothing wrong with prioritizing other things. It’s just a matter of being honest with yourself on what your priorities are.
I'm not even joking that planet fitness is the exact one I go too, theres tons of great people there constantly trying to improve, you cant judge them from a glance
I thought this video was going to be interesting but man was I wrong lol. Once he started talking about fitness, I realized he knew nothing about fitness
I find it disrespectful how your saying that people who go to PF aren’t really ‘gym goers’ or into their fitness. Everybody has to start somewhere 🤦♂️
Planet Fitness’s founder founded planet fitness because his wife felt overwhelmed by the gym and he wanted her to have a safe space to work out, this the “no critics” ideal planted all over the machines. You’re the kind of person they don’t want in there 😂
If you feel overwhelmed by a gym, that’s a personal problem. No one in the gym looks down on people trying to get their bodies right. I went up to multiple huge dudes in an “intimidating” gym when I first started, and all were super friendly and open to give advice on lifting, diet, and supplements.
It's not ignorant if you've been to one. It's body conscious people's excuse for prioritizing health so they can have an excuse to say they're still fat after a week of pizza and a complete lack of muscle hypertrophy or an increased heart rate for that matter.

I went to a gym that charged me 45$ a month and straight away, some dudes came in a started using me as an example of how i’m “lazy” and i “clearly don’t go out”. I then switched to PF because everyone minds their business and exercise their own ways not to mention only 10$ a month.
I just switched from Planet fitness to a different more conventional gym today that's $30/mo, has way more weight lifting equipment, I went to the PF for 8 months, lets be honest girl... there are some real characters that stroll up into those planet fitness to work out lol...
My planet fitness has a lot of jacked dudes & motivated woman in there... Plus everyone is super friendly while getting their gains. Sure it’s not meant for the professional body builder but that doesn’t mean it won’t do the job.
Nico same! There are so many people at mine living their best life. I really don’t get the hate for PF. The most frequent argument I’ve heard against it is “well you’re just not serious about fitness if you go there,” but no one has an actual reason, besides the fact that there’s Smith machines. I use the smith machines and I like them, because I don’t have to depend on another person to go with me. It’s like my favorite part of the day to go there :)
Most people in the gym aren't like that, they either keep to themselves, maybe point out form problems, talk about different lifts, etc. Asswipes like him are a minority, anyone that acts like an asshole gets booted after 2 strikes.

As someone who has been working out consistently and passionately my entire adult life and as someone who has experienced every type of gym you can think of I can assure you that the best "gym" is your home gym. For the first time in my life the 2020 shutdowns forced me to come up with home gym solutions and after a lot of thought and planning I figured out a way to work out my entire body at home with minimal space and minimal equipments (Everything fitting in my bedroom) The convenience of a home gym encourages you to workout more frequently, which improves your overall results. I've been getting the best result of my life since 2020 after I started working out at home and I was shocked to figure out how little amount of equipment you actually need to hit every muscle including lower body and best of all it's completely free after you buy a few pieces of equipment, it's available to your 24/7, and there are zero interruptions and wait times.

With this you can cover your bicep + additional back exercises (example: barbell rows) + some shoulder exercises. 4. A small set of regular dumbbells preferably going up to at least 50 lbs. With these dumbbells you can cover a variety of exercises including triceps, biceps, and shoulders. 5. A dipping belt. This is the most important piece of equipment because it will allow you to continuously increase weight to your free body exercises on the pull up + dip station as you improve. 6. An exercise mat (So you can lie on the ground for your main triceps workouts. Optional: -Adjustable dumbbells if you want more free weight lower body exercises. - Some resistance bands for added exercise variety. That's pretty much it. Of course you can add additional equipment for added variety if you have the space for it but basically with the above equipment you can fully exercise your entire body all in your bedroom and get better results than if you were signed up for a gym.

Fitness is fitness, you can get fit at any price point, and as someone who's working minimum wage, I'm going for the 200 a year thank you very much.
5:38 that guy just walked out and was like nope
Uncle ik lol

Literally everyone in that $300 gym looks more out of shape than the PF people lmao
I've seen dudes at PF that are waaaay bigger than this dude.
There’s a black man that goes to my neighborhood PF that deadass looks like Hulk, but he’s nice as hell
@@OneJuan0633 "nice as hell" doesn't make sense, but okay.
@@kiwi7884 of course it does. Same thing as nice as fuck. You got my point didn’t you?
Not even big
@Kenneth Coats bruh stfu
Your camera quality is the equivalent to planet fitness aka low end 😂
Nicholas Rossmeisl so are his “gains”
😂😂
Yungdaggerdick Nigga theres already phones that can easily record 4k 60 fps, considering how much shit this guy talks his camera quality is horrendous
@@eosio8450 recording at that quality and actually having good quality is different. guess which one has better quality, A phone that record at 4k vs an actual camera that records 1080p; the camera is going to have better quality because it has a bigger lens/apperture etc...
What a tool, how do you know people there are not trying improve their records and get better and stronger. Some people don’t have the cash flow for an expensive gym.
Did you even watch the video?
He recommended the 10 dollar gym.
This dude is one of the smallest “Fitness TH-camrs” I’ve ever seen. The dude doesn’t have much room to talk, everyone who uses planet fitness, props to you for even getting out there. Lots give up regardless of the gym.
He's not a "fitness" TH-camr at all... and actually, the the right size *most* the general population should be anyway.
I got to planet fitness and met a mens physique bodybuilder. Theres guys bigger than you that go there
Thats not good, im pretty sure normal people would want a lean fit with muscle like his
Enho CZRS mens physique is all lean muscle
Most men's physique is also steroids these days too...
The vast majority of serious physique competitors will *not* choose to train at Planet Fitness on a regular basis... I can assure you of that.
However, they may have to use such gyms from time to time if they are traveling or because of an unexpected situation forces them to.
DavePazz well steroids still require you to put in the work. Ive seen buff dudes at the gym in my apartment complex and that one only has treadmills and 1 weight bench.
There are a lot of bodybuilders who go to planet fitness specifically for the machines, but that's mostly supplementary. They spend most of their time at gyms with barbells.
This channel should name
Teaching men how to live
Loool agreed
We dying over here
#Teachingmenslifestyle
Woah jose is considering this but he won't his branding and people perception of him will change
My $35 dollar month gym has everything equinox has lmao and 3 indoor basketball courts and indoor soccer
Indoor soccer ??? Where at that’s sounds lit 🔥
Dave Reyes damn
Dave Reyes what gym?
Dave Reyes well damnn that sounds like a recreational center lol
Hunter Of Cults lmao
He's the reason a lot of ppl don't want to go to the gym.
Reviewing gyms makes people not want to go to the gym?
Dont go to the gym no one forcing you if you care so much you dont deserve the gym
Planet fitness is great because I can go at 2-3 am in the morning.
Joss the type of Zuniga to replace the gyms shampoo with Hudson & Mane
Snixar 😂😂😂
HAHAHAH
zuNIGA🤣
Who’s joss ?
Snixar I’m sure he brought back some samples.. #Hustle
He’s the kind of person that makes people want to workout at planet fitness. No judgment. That’s their modo. And what did you do? You went in there and judged them. Straight up disrespect I hope someone humbles you soon. 🙄
Yungdaggerdick nigga ur mad that madelyn speakin Facts
Niggah Nuts a teen can max out all the weights in shitty ass PF
@@BryanRacks simp
damn you're triggered
Madelyn Stambaugh who da fuck asked you
I’ve had memberships to 24hr fitness, UFC gym, anytime fitness and a CrossFit gym. Best gym membership I’ve every had is Planet Fitness. $25 bucks a month for a gym that’s only 50% packed on a “Busy” day, people don’t bother you, and the heavy weights are almost always NEVER taken! I have yet to wait for the 45s to stop being used. But it’s Nice walking in and having an environment where you can get to work without having to wait 30 mins for a machine to become available💯 but that’s just me
Both gyms arent worth it imo. The best gyms are usually around $50 per month. Not super low end, but having all the equipment and weights u need to gain muscle.
LA Fitness ✌️
Crunch fitness... 25 bucks for everything
24 hour has everything i want and i pay 17$ a month through costco
Do you even lift homie?! You seemed more excited about the shampoo and hairdryer in the locker room than anything else!
melahi7 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
💀
you can tell he doesn’t! fucking twig
Based on clothing from Gap Kids, he doesn't lift
“They only go up to 75 lbs”
*sees him only lifting 20 lbs*
Me:Yah ur one to talk🙄
He wasn't talking about what he personally lifts when he made that comment...
He was talking about people who want to push themselves fucktard
Lol I'm a pretty average sized girl and small and I can lift 20 no problem. He's not shit lol
But he can power clean 135 lmao
75 pounds is enough like really i have some dumbells ta home which are 11kg each which is like 20 pounds and i can do 15-20reps im 14 years old buy 75 pounds is like lifting a 9 year old in a hand
“I mean, if you look around … you can tell why they only pay $10… fitness to these people.. “ 😂😂😂😂 the 360 and the 360 turn killed meee
I work out at an underground gym for less than 100$ a year. Unlike planet fitness, the intense hard-core vibe it gives off motivates me to bust a bicep or two haha.
Tbh as long as you have all the basic equipment, you can make gains. Just work out hard and smart.
And safe
“This shirt’s gonna make your biceps look bigger”
*points at his skinny little arm*
Burn 🔥 🔥 🔥 and by a girl! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Druhrfe Hadishia LOLLL weird flex but ok. It’s just rude for this dude to walk into a gym and say “I mean, look at these people” as if they’re some weird species. If he’s happy with his body, cool, good for him, but that gives him no right to point the finger at someone who’s at the gym trying to be active while they could simply be sitting on their couch instead. This dumb judgy mentality is the exact reason why so many people are terrified of stepping foot in the gym! Live and let live.
Mariella Arias my thoughts exactly lol
@Druhrfe Hadishia watch vegan gains...he's 6' 5" and have massive arms. All from a vegan diet.
@Druhrfe Hadishia I get it that's why I'm advising you to watch vegan gains videos because he's a really tall guy who managed to put on a lot of muscle and he's completely 100% vegan. He has diet tips and workout advice that probably could help you. he's always saying he has shytty genetics so if he can do it then anyone can
It all comes down to whether you want a squat rack, free weights, or pizza Wednesdays
patrick berry commented when 69 likes
patrick berry haha right
I bench 265 at 170 bodyweight, can run a mile in 6 minutes, college wrestler, and I go to planet fitness and I’ve never seen more progress at any other gym mainly because planet fitness is actually 24 hours and that’s a big thing for me and the reason I chose planet fitness, weights are weight, you can pay for that 300$ gym and I’ll still be in better shape, it’s about the work you put in not what gym you go to
I go to PF when my normal gym is closed. You can do most at PF that you can do at the hire end ones. no squats no dead lifts? try free weights. This guy in the video is a clown. I also do boxing, muay thai training and you can do the body weight exercises anywhere. I've done them at PF no issues. This Dude has chicken legs.
Two main reasons I chose PF:
1) 24/7
2) Location
Forget about finding a spotter or a lifting partner if you're an advanced lifter. Most of the people there are clueless and extremely weak.
My local YMCA has all of that “high end” stuff, plus child care, a pool, a hockey rink and a track... for $75 /mo family.
Krys Burke love the ymca
Right I go to mega fitness and I pay 47aMonth and I have access to a pool yoga and gym room top workout so nice
I workout in my garage for $0 a month
@@shrek19yearsago78 is it better to workout with a peronal trainer online session with dumb bells only?.? Or is it better to go to a gym with all these equipments?
my Y is not as good as it but the weights are all good wish we had some machines we don’t have
3:16 acting like he can lift 75 pounds 😂
Boo Baa lmao ya
easy shit lol
He did it tho
Boo Baa Frreal he was lifting 30’s
Boo Baa but there are people who can lift 75 pounds dumbass. He wasn’t talking about himself. Don’t talk shit when you know nothing about gyms
If he needs a shirt to make his arms look bigger, I think he needs to find a new gym.
uh no, ppl with big arms can wear a baggy shirt and that's not going to help their arms look much bigger. its about the fit of a t shirt
I honestly wonder your body mass
@Theone82 he’s not from mexico lmao xD
@Theone82 the US ? XDDDD
@Theone82 take it this way. I bet he isn't dropping ratial hate on a random video he dislikes. Can u imagine doing that? How stupid must they look
I have a Planet Fitness membership and can say that there are people of all fitness levels there with many who are very fit. They may not have Olympic weight sets but they have plenty of free weights both barbells and dumbbells. If one has the motivation and knows proper exercise form then Planet Fitness has all the equipment you'll ever need to get in great shape.
I agree. I recently joined PF and i definitely do see people that are very fit/athletic. Both men and women.
