David Soul had a great voice! Soft pop folk music singer. This song was the highest debut hit on Casey Kasem's AT40 the weekend of 2-19-77. David Soul debuted at #31!!! It was a big hit throughout the spring & summer of 1977
Good job presenting this. He was the co star on the hit cop show: "Starsky & Hutch!" The tv show ran successfully from '75-'79.

David Soul was a great singer and actor. Love hearing him and watching him.
Me too never get tired of hearing him or watching him in the series or in the movies he played.
When you're young, old people die and you never had any concept of them as young. Now, at my age, I'm seeing old people die who I remember as vibrant, young people. It's time, it's inevitable but it's also quite a punch in the gut. I remember David Soul much more as he looks here and I guess that's always the way I'll want to remember him

Sassy, just loved "Starsky and Hutch" when it aired and totally fell in love with David. I own the complete series and watch episodes quite often to get my "Hutch" fix 😊 and just love this beautiful song of his! Loved him in "Salem's Lot", too. Thanks for a great reaction as always and you know that I always look forward to our Monday live streams where everyone is like family.

You may remember him from "Starsky and Hutch". He played Hutch. A tv series from the late 70's. All I can remember is they had a cool car!! Of course I would remember the car! But he was a singer. I don't think he performs any more. But he did have a good voice. Thanks Sassy. Love Ya!!

You're right about Starsky and Hutch, he played Ken Hutchison, Paul Michael Glaser played Dave Starsky, also featured Antonio Fargas as Huggy Bear, remember it well, used to watch it on BBC1 here in Scotland when i was young!! 😀 😀
