I remember a pair of these flying out of Fort Richardson in Fairbanks, Alaska for the Fire Service back in the early 90's. When I got back in the lower 48, I actually saw the pair featured on the cover of Popular Mechanics.
The fly by after it left was awesome. I was scrambling to video it but just had to watch it Wow

How delighful badassness
One of these was being used as a fire bomber in Colorado and suffered a spar failure - which was all caught on video. Terrible accident - Tanker 23.
