Synergy is honestly so worth every penny . The guys at synergy are avid off-road racers and they are honestly trying to give people the best value for their money!!!
Love all your videos...definitely would not have known about your company without the youtube uploads. Ill be placing an order to you guys in the near future. Thank again and love the videos especially the 3rd gen stuff
It isn't really a problem, just improper installation! If your drag link is hitting the tie rod, just loosen the nuts and roll the drag link upward. It should always be installed so the bend is away from the lower link.
Clean looking design but for someone who just dumped on EMF joints and a free spin kit that price kills my interest for a while. I'll just swap OE comps from a 4th gen for now
I'm installing that kit on my 06 Ram 2500 now. Do you use a wrench on the jam nut for the p/side tie rod? I've heard a 33mm wrench works on it but jeeze I'm wondering how you get the 300lb feet they call for in the instructions. Also, do you adjust your drag link then take it back off to torque it? Thanks,
I have a 2005 20 2500 ram Cummins 59 I bought it into the dealership to get alignment done and they said I needed everything underneath all new which comes out to $2000 then I went to another mechanic that I trust and he said no you don’t need anything you what you need is the stabilizer shock other than that everything is tight underneath because it was just done when I bought the truck from the dealership seven months ago new bowl of joints knew everything so what is the best way I am not going off road but I like my truck to look nice and I do haul heavy equipment from my gooseneck or my rear bumper hitch what is the best way to keep the front end safe and last at least 70,000 miles please let me know because I know you’re not in Florida so I’d like to get everything I can to keep this truck a long time
We're going to make a video all about 2nd gen steering! Until then, here's the complete front end upgrade page we just launched with all the best parts in one place. www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/complete-front-end-upgrade-kits/products/ultimate-2nd-gen-dodge-ram-2500-3500-4x4-steering-upgrade-package
To be fair, that's a longer than the factory Mopar joints last with larger 35s or 37s and hard off road usage. When you run big tires and run the truck hard off road, reduced joint lifespan id just part of the game. That's the whole point of Synergy offering individually replaceable joints since you have to replace the whole linkage if the Mopar joints go out.
Just installed a synergy kit on my 04 and can’t seem to get the tie rod to stop flexing up and down while turning the steering wheel. Went through two different shops and still having this “flopping” issue. Anybody else have this issue and get it resolved?
So the steering assembly wears out easily? My 2011 is at the dealership currently and they said I had to have hit something. Just looks worn to me though.
Improper setup. When doing the final set on the dragline, you need to lock it in place in an upright position. Some people will tighten the nut against the draglink, and not hold it up.
With the Synergy drag link you have to know what your doing to properly set it up. Most tire shop guys just can’t get it!!! The drag link hitting the tie rod is purely a installation mistake!!!! I’m so sick of hearing idiots bad mouth it because they don’t comprehend the sequence of tightening the darn thing down
The drag link hitting the tie rod is the idiot that installed its fault and NOT Synergy’s!!!! I have a O6 Dodge with a complete Synergy front end. Synergy progressive springs RadFlow shocks Dynatrack Ball Joints. I live in Lake Tahoe and my truck eats anything I can throw at it. Synergy’s stuff is unreal how good it is when properly installed. The only problem is the 10-12$ guy alining trucks at your local discount save here... tire shop
Hopefully you can help me with a question. I have a 2018 ram 2500 4x4, Tie rod is bent in the middle. I've been able to straighten it by heating it and it looks just about straight again. I know it's not like OEM now but looks straight. I tow alot with the truck should I replace it right away. What are your thoughts on the Synergy HD Tie rods
Absolutely should replace your steering. Once they bend, they're weakened permanently. We have lots of happy customers who install the Synergy HD steering. It's far beefier than stock and has replaceable, greasable joints too.
I actually drilled and tapped my mopar steering for zerks
just got a synergy setup on my 06 ram 2500 and couldnt be happier. replaceable everything is well worth the upfront cost over "OEM upgrade"
Hey brother where did you find your setup I have an 06 also
@@BurgaBea_Stro diesel power products, they are only 2 hours away from me.
@Flint Sisson thank you its time to upgrade my truck

Thank you! Several of us have third gens so we can’t leave them out!
When will you be doing the video on the problem people have with the synergy steering? Interested in it before pulling the trugger

@@CJCOffRoad so your not going to be doing a video?
@@lordofwar1234 It is on the coming soon list! We are working on it. Thanks!
did yall end up making the video for the complaints on the synergy steering?
How do you make alignment adjustments with the synergy without popping out the end joint?

Why are you the way that you choose to be? 🤣😂🤣

Ya blew out my Ynergy tie rods in almost 2 years. Should have just stuck with Mopar for the price.

You want to lock the bar in place vertically using the jam nuts. It may take a couple attempts, but it can be done.
So the steering assembly wears out easily? My 2011 is at the dealership currently and they said I had to have hit something. Just looks worn to me though.
Steering joints can fail from wear over time or from a single impact, but either way it sounds like you’re ready for a replacement!
Did you guys ever do a video on the different stabilizers
keep an eye out over the next month or so!
Hey so what would cause the drag link to run on the tie rod? Thinking about buying the synergy kit but don’t want it rubbing

Yes, as long as it’s a 4wd truck

Searched for a stabilizer vid and no joy?
We’re waiting patiently on inventory back order from a few brands to finish the video!
or you can buy the recall part # that's a lot cheaper... check that recall part# out and order the part # from a dealer.
What's the part number?
$950 now :(
So in a year the price of this part has gone up $150. That's a 20% increase and bull shit.
Don’t shoot the messenger. We just sell the parts, we don’t set the prices!
@@CJCOffRoad ya a know it's still bull shit.
1200$ now hah
