I was suspicious of his love but the moment he said "Don't drink that" THAT LOOK IN HIS EYES BYE I'M GONNA CRY FOR 5 MINS NOW. He loved Edith and he was starting to realize how wrong everything was. Man was ONLY 12 when his sister wacked his mom in the head with an axe. That must've been so traumatic. The reality of the actions of his sister passed through his eyes as he bled to death. I HATE LUCY YET I FELL BAD FOR HER. She knew their love was wrong yet she encouraged it. She stabbed 'the only person she loved' just because he fell in love with someone else, someone better, healthier and happier. And when Thomas realized that the so called 'Love' his sister had for him killed him, the pain in his eyes shattered me. As much as I know, in the novel his ghost was also depicted as white to prove his want for good and innocence. Whereas Lucilles' ghost was Black, and the victims were red and bloody. He wasn't evil he was just broken. He deserved better
oH MY GOD AND THIS?! this movie is on my top ten faves list, they aethetic of it is gorgeous and the relationship between thomas and edith is so tragic but beautiful at the same time and you captured it really well, made me cry 💔 thank you so much, hands down the best crimson peak video i've seen!
