@@AntonMaltsev let me know if you are interested being a BETA tester for our next gen cameras that will be launched next year;) (they will blow you away)
@@RoiZiss Wow! This will be great!:) What do I need to do? You can reach me anytime through email ( anton@rembrain.ai ) or telegram ( @wk_zb ) or LinkedIn (I sent you an invite)
@@picnet we actually had such a product in very mature stages. although it had relatively short range at outdoor, it was FAR better than L515 in all other conditions. unfortunately, as you all know - most of our LIDAR team moved to Mobileye in order to focus on the automotive LIDAR (leaving all development focus to the next generation of stereo technology)
Hi! Thank you for the informative video! So if I mainly want to use this camera outdoors, does the laser dot projector help? Or should I just go with the regular Oak-d? Thank you!
And Luxionis made their own testing of accuracy for OAK-D, and it's the same for OAK-D pro on the long-distance. Here it is - docs.google.com/document/d/1F4Y6S6KtZ4f8RBE4W-o9x6xVXbqsw8UIGWPkML-on1Y/edit Look pretty close for my tests in the video.
Anton, I enjoy watching your videos on depth cameras. Great work.
Dear Anton, I very much enjoy watching your videos and insights of these camera.

Thank you very much, Roi!
It's very motivating!

Hi!
Depending on the weather condition and day or night usage. If your preferred case is sunny conditions then your OAK-D will be OK.
@@AntonMaltsev Makes sense, thank you!
Great Job Anton!!!
Do you think I am better off using Zed 2i for the longer range than using OAK-D?
Hi! Thank you!
The more the distance between the cameras - the better for long distances. So yes, Zed2i will be more accurate.
