Great lighting mod. Worked great for my 06 997.1. Watched the video first and completed the project in 30 minutes. He’s right about being careful about how hot those bulbs are when you pull them out. Man those bastards were hot, painfully hot in the case of the wheel well bulbs. No polarity issues on my end. I would say that they should reconfigure the kit for the 06 model because I ended up with one extra bulb. My 997 does not have a trunk light. Other than that great product, great service and easy mod to do..

997.1 has a trunk light. Yours might be burnt out. It is on the right hand side of the fan, not above the fan as shown in this video

When I replaced mine, I forgot how hot those little lights get.. like instantly!

    Great video. Thank you.
My passenger side door bulb isn't working. Is there a fuse that controls it?

    Hi,
I replaced all the internal halogen bulbs plus license plate lights with LEDs.
I only have a problem with the glove compartment lamp. At first it worked, later while I was reassembling it and
I put the metal cap in the lamp holder it went out and doesn't want to light up anymore.
With the multimeter I have no more voltage in the two wires.
    What could have happened?
How can I do to restore the 12 volts on the two wires of the glove box?
Unlike the two bulbs in the lower part of the dashboard, the one in the glove compartment is substantially
identical with the exception that it has a diode on the positive terminal.

I had the same issue with my glovebox light. The new LED went on for 1 sec then out. I'm thinking it may need a resistor fitted as well as the new LED bulb? In the pack I received there are a set of resistors supplied also.

@@barrymckenna6043 Unfortunately it is not a question of the resistor. The separately tested led lamp works. The problem is that in the two wires of the glove compartment I have no more voltage (12 Volt), as if the control unit had cut off the power supply.

I followed these steps to a tee and it disabled all of my interior lights except the courtesy - anyone have any suggestions? Fuse?

Bought your kit. Engine bay LED turns on for a split second, then shuts off. Any idea why? Power is good, and it's not a polarity issue either. Tried another LED and it did the same thing. '08 997TT

Mine did exactly the same thing. Engine bay LED may just flash when installing. Replaced with the original halogen. All other interior LEDs seem ok.

I have a 2006 997 and cannot figure out how to remove the driver side foot well light so I can switch it out. Any advice please?

I had some difficulty with that one too. Got it out in the end by getting my hand (or few fingers) in behind the light housing and popping it from behind while at the same time loosening the front using a plastic pry tool.
