You are a real sensei ! I did martial arts for many years and you remind me of my sensei who was teaching us the philospohy, not just the technique. And as for the practical part, he showed us more than what he was saying for those who are experienced to observe and to understand at another level of details.
What you play is BEAUTIFUL, like for me your playing parts are tiny concert pieces. Also how you describe what you do is beautiful too, with all the analogies and the pragmatism where feelings and practical concepts melted together. You deliver all that with such and love of the sound.
I think guitar sounds unbelievebly good but it is a confusing instrument to master and when I see you playing I wish I could see my guitar as clearly as you see yours.
You inspire me Tomo thank you so so much for your work. I hope you will continue as long as you can

Hi Tomo, thanks. This was a good lesson, but I don’t see how the triad part of the lesson relates to tritone subs, since you continued playing the I VI II V progression.
Perhaps you could expand on this in Guitar Wisdom and provide more info on application.
Also, are tritone subs something you often incorporate into your improvising, or is this something you’d use more when comping?

That’s so beautiful sound so good in my soul, what do you recommended the portable good sound Amplifier for jazz and blues? For beginning, people said its good to have a good guitar and amp for a beginning. I have spent quite some money to buy guitar and Amp but never deliver a good sound neither it’s because I’m a beginner or self thought without a teacher or having a music knowledge or music theory so all this years playing guitar I still have no clue and I found myself frustrated but I always love guitars, is bossanova is Jazz too, can you play Bossanova, I love jazz and blues but I also crazy about heavy metal or melodic death metal bands out there , is heavy metal is different scales with Jazz and Blues
