I finally have had a chance to try out the Sugar paint extensively by this point (it was on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $2.79 a can) and here's my thoughts:
1. They say "low odor" but it's not low odor at all. It's just a different odor. When you paint with it, it smells like you're in a vodka production factory. Still, I guess it's better than most other paints that use petro chemical stuff.
2. You have to shake the cans constantly and thoroughly, otherwise your colors can / will come out in different shades. The darker the color you are using the more noticeable this is.
3. It didn't seem especially runny to me, but it definitely isn't as thick as the Lak.
4. Iceberg is a super dope color

5. I don't know if it is a 'low pressure' paint or not, but the Sugar didn't take very well to fat caps for me. It comes with a Sharpshooter cap, which I feel is a good fit for these cans... detail work and stuff. I tried pink dots and silver fats and the paint just wouldn't atomize correctly out of the cap. As such, I wouldn't recommend these cans to people wanting to go out tagging/bombing. If you're working on a mural or canvases or whatever, sure, go for it. If you're wanting to get up and do some goon shit, go with something else. (Personally I like Flame Orange with a silver fat.)
For that price…I would’ve bought it strictly for outlines and to stomp on everyone trying to decently flare out rustos and 2x cans just to catch nice flares on some tags with ny fat caps and crispy thin tags with grey dots

I blushed when I got this notification. Right on time too. I picked up two cans two days ago. Finally gave in. Honestly, before I listen to your take, my unbiased opinion is that I expected the quality to be not so good. Lack of fumes is a nice break from the usual. Opacity is pretty good. Reminds me of Montana White (synthetic). Only complaint: a bit runny. Could be the humid climate in which I live. Excited to see how she does in the long run. Let this be for your indoor projects.

Sharp Shooter Cap was the first cap I learned to love. I have less experience so I dont know much about caps. But I know I like the sharp shooter. Sharp Shooter makes some very delicate lines. I also noticed that if Sugars have high output the odour is much more present. Cant tell if MTN Water Based was noticeable. Maybe because I was wearing a respirator.

Hey art priomo, i have a question.
Ordered some sugar like in the vid, with the orange cap.
I got some caps for it but alot of them don't fit but some do.
Could you mske a vid on caps.
If you have the time use a tan under the yellow, the earth colors tend to cover well and provide a good base for a bright yellow.

Your one of those peeps who truly enjoys teaching and it shows man good for you... especially in spray techniques alot of people hold there cards close to the chest in this type of art... and ever if ur out in the streets on the reg you still show so many tip can combos that you take alotta guess work out of what to rock in the back pack when you step out... hell im even bout to get a wall done and im the kinda dude that only rocks 2 colors and goes for the crazy up and out the way spots lol...

Not to mention that the people who make the empty cans for paint companies.... add a very light oil inside of the can so it dont rust before the paint company fills it.... its even in butane cans ... dubbed/called "mystery oil" look up "mystery oil in aerosol cans"

I rememeber a paint in the mid 2000's called plutonium g. Only place you could buy it around here, was at was a graffiti shop in Toronto called the bomb shelter. If I rememeber it was compressed air inside,or something like that.
Got sugar cans with the black Friday random pack. It was a brown color. When you sprayed it brown and pink came out . So the same line was literally brown and pink. One might like that I wasn't a fan

I have never bought a can of sugar that lasted well. Maybe i just never shook the can enough but the cans would blow through every cap i had thick or thin

Hey ranger thoses are the old sugar. The new ones are quite differant, i recon the old colors were better but the new paint is more like iron lak. Comes with a different cap too.
The new ones have blue label right? Have you tried them? I wanna do a bomb on my wall of my bedroom but I don't know how the odor is because I have a small room. On top of that there's already graft on my wall so IDK how coverage is either.
samuel martinez i have paint markers that stank out a room worse. Crack a window youll be fine. As for coverage, just depends on the color bro. Yellow and orange were not so good but theres some super thick blue green purple and the darker reds and pinks are rad. Get heaps of spare fats and shake the can a bunch. Peace.

Another low-odor alcohol-acrylic paint I'd really like to see a graff-oriented review of is the cheap ColorShot paints that Walmart started selling earlier this year. The reviews from the model makers and the people who rattlecan their cars with it seem to be coming out okay, and it's cheap (like a buck more than Colorplace now that dollar cans aren't actually a dollar), and it comes in skinny cans that are way easier to stuff up a hoodie sleeve or in a waistband and a WAY better selection of colors than Rusto or Krylon. Seems like it might be worth a shot, you know better than anyone how we all love cheap big-box-store cans, and especially Walmart cans since they don't lock theirs up like Michael's does with the Montana and Krylon... seems like they're compatible with Rusto caps too, I didn't buy any but I swapped the caps between a ColorShot and a Rusto and they fit each other fine.
