I just realized how badly Rus would own on this map. You would only need 4 vills on deer or boar or maybe even just sheep until you've massed fishing ships. Fishing ships don't even need to drop off at the dock. Vlls could focus on wood, massing hunting cabins all along the inside ring for gold. Spam knights and scouts and wipe the map, warrior monks could take relics as you wipe, And you could have like 10 vills stealing stone and walling or building keeps as you wipe from both directions.
Not seeing the wonder somehow is a common issue in aoe 4 and not so much in aoe2, how you do not notice it no idea but they probably should make the wonder timer way more obvious with team colors, it looks the same as other stuff you see in your screen all the time so it just blends in and people dont look at it.
1 thing I disagree with is that 1 vs 1 seems a bit easier to get high rank for me. I don’t have friends that play and I feel like team games have a lot of duos or trios playing together

It seems like if all 8 players go middle, it would make sense to not go middle and get in the middle of all that fighting.
