Hugging trees is much like hugging a person. There is healing and a sense of comfort because we press against the solar plexus. Also, being in the midst of our natural world is also a healing, which is so needed these days. Thank you for sharing such beauty.

Glad you like those little glimpses. I love it here so much - that's why we moved. But Scotland was also very beautiful. Actually, the highlands are very similar to our region. It's just better weather here.

Beautiful scenery. I always love watching your “travels.” Seeing the cows brought back memories of my childhood. I grew up on a dairy farm. We mostly had Holsteins, but usually had a few Brown Swiss like you showed. I was also lucky enough to to go to Europe in the ‘80s and travelled a little bit through Switzerland - not long enough though! My time was too short. It was so beautiful. When you show the scenery it brings back memories of reading Heidi, one of my favorite books from a young age. Thanks for the memories.
Glad you like those clips of our beautiful surroundings. We also have Scottish Highland cows on the property (not ours - belong to the farmer renting the fields near our place.) Anyway - we had some excitement about a month ago when a calf was born. They are so shaggy and cute - VERY FRIENDLY cows; just like the Scots as I recently experience.
Also being time poor…your Inktober concept sounds perfect🥰 and the colour palette you’re looking at is amazing…can’t wait to join you for this as I am not familiar with many of the prompt patterns…enjoy your well deserved family time💞
