I'm buying one this morning! It's a burgundy 2006 with 85k miles on it. I drove a Chevy Lumina for a couple of years so I'm familiar with big boat cars I just cannot wait to get back behind the wheel of one
I have an 05 signature limited. Mine came with more chrome, as rocker panel chrome and fender wheel arch chrome. I noticed something in your video that you probably ran into a nightmare problem with, as when you closed that sun roof, you kept your finger on the button too long and it lifted in the back, so first rain you get you probably got water in your car. Those sunroofs are tricky, because when you close them, you have to let go of the button fast or it does the tilt in back thing
I'd like to thank you for making this video, I just bought a 2006 Lincoln and didn't know every thing did or know what they did...so thank you ...mine didn't come with a owners manual.
I have a 98 that's almost to 200k. The 98-2002 had much better window and door lock switches. Not sure why they felt the need to downgrade them. Either way, the Town Car is a textbook example of a luxury car. Love mine.
Rubbing alcohol on a towel will remove that smudge of silver paint on your drivers side door pull in no time flat! Rubbing alcohol will also remove permanent markers like Sharpie’s, etc.
Mine didn't have the Satellite radio option, did have a cd player but never used. Now dsys Satellite radio & other things can use with phone are more common in all cars.
I had always kept my traction control on all the time, even if I had turned off it would turn on after turning car on. Whst I had liked about these cars is the analog clock as i call them vs the digital now Lincoln went back to digital clock on their cars & SUV's.
Glad i found you on here. Getting close to purchasing a 2007 signature limited, waiting for credit union to send paperwork. Car has 107,000 miles on it. Still looks brand new inside and out. What part of Illinois you from? I'm from the Quad City area (west side right next to the Mississippi River.
Congrats on the upcoming purchase! So far, no engine or air ride issues. I do however have a playlist with all other other previous repairs so might want to check it out.
@@VitaliyKofman yeah, it was crazy to see Hawthorn Mall surrounded by SWAT and National Guard...anyways, great video, looking to buy the same model (but in black, since tan/"cashmere" isn't my style!)
I wanted black on black also, but couldn't find a decent one within a couple hundred miles. I'm not a big fan of tan interior, but just couldn't pass this fine example is Schaumburg, IL
I am buying an 04 Town Car Signature and the interior is almost the same as yours except no tach, the horn pad is different as the steering wheel controls for fan, radio, etc, and mine has cd and cassette radio.
That panel just has wire up there. When i was a kid we had a beat up sable and everyone once in a while if would just hit us in the head and u can see everything up there lol

I have an 2006 … 84,000 original miles . I absolutely love it . I have no plans to sell or trade it !!!!
Beautiful and timeless.
Indeed!

24:04 mine has the same thing. Its for access to the sun roof motor
My '00 Cartier had labels on the buttons for the trunk and gas door on door panel.
Thank you! Yes - I saw older cars with labels, but I think they were removed from 03+ (strange)
There is always a presence of class when you arrive in this vehicle.Top of the line even today. The most underrated & best car for the money in the 🌎 !
Couldn't agree more!

That top part on your headliner in the backseat, is to gain access to your motor to your moonroof
Thank you! Good thing I didn't try to pry it open thinking it was a mirror :)

love this cars
This car has "Phil Leotardo" written all over it - I want one now.
What’s the best way to play music from iPhone on the stock radio ? I have a 2009 coming next week.
Replace the stock radio
Or an FM transmitter into the 12v!
@@szymoncbortion69 I just got one. It’s decent.

For sure, I'm guessing very few people opted for it.

Thanks for the video, I’m buying a all black one just like this on Monday. Any thing you’ve had issues with as far as the engine or the air ride?

What is that round hole right from the audio system?
Thats the passenger airbag light warning
can you do a night time video on the lincoln town car?
Sorry, I don't have the car anymore
that panel in the roof is so you can work on the sun roof motor
Thanks! Couple people pointed this out, but I'm still wondering how come modern cars or even other cars from that era don't have such panels.
@@VitaliyKofman on those you take the hole header out or it is under the dom light
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks!
@@VitaliyKofman just replaced the trans on my 09,next is widow regulators
Nice!
Great video I have a '00 Cartier
Thank you! I just love this thing :)
How the heck did you get in the X-Factor lot when it was barricaded off?
This was filmed a while back when the only thing we were scared of was COVID-19. Now, even closed malls are dangerous...

No problem. I got it last December for 7K @89K miles at the time. Traded 13 Elantra with about same miles and never looked back :)

Lol. Thanks for letting me know
How many miles on the Town Car as of 2023?
Almost 118K
It lacks in standard audio usb / SD slots for flash usb to install and listen favourite songs
Yes it does, but I just listen to the radio so no problem for me 😁
that's because this gen was designed in 2005. No car from that time had anything like that. Aftermarket is better than modern stock anyways.

I have one that is 2006, and l can assure that it is not old or granpa, with my Lincoln l make the other cars bite the dust 😎
You don't have to convince me 😀
lol is that a cop parked over there watching you?
Nope
