Sophie Soon - Client Sharing for SAVH IWCD 2021

Inspiring words from Sophie Soon, client of Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), shared at our International White Cane Day 2021 (IWCD 2021) virtual event, held on 15 October 2021 via Zoom. She was one of five outstanding clients who shared at this event. Special thanks to Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) for facilitating Sophie's sharing.
As the saying goes, it takes a village. Everyone around a visually impaired person, individuals as well as institutions, help to create the conditions which can build her up to become someone as confident and charismatic as Sophie. SAVH as the national social service agency for the visually impaired, aims to be at the forefront of efforts to build an inclusive society for the visually impaired.
