I love the setting and art style of this game, its not too bland and character customization has to be my favorite of any other game I've played. In the beta I recreated my favorite character from the Socom series and I plan to pick up the game when multiplayer PVP releases or a good sale comes along. Thanks for the GRW content in the meanwhile :)
This game isn't as bad as everyone including I have said. It's repetitive but a fun challenging type of repetitive. I just wish there was a more tactical/better way to control your AI team and have em... I dunno...but the game is pretty okay!!
yeah the AI team is crap. But the COOP with other players is INCREDIBLY fun. The repetitiveness of the missions is nulled by the different tactics you can try with your friends :D
LaLiLuLeLoX I don't get why everyone complains about the AI teammates. Do you want them to be doing what you do. What the hell would have to do then. And you kind of can have them kill all the enemies if you want to take your time and just do sync shots without even shooting yourself. What more do you need them to do exactly.

The game gets boring really quickly, or atleast for me. I love stealth based games and this one is no exception. The world feels empty and without anything. I'll probably get the game a few months later when the games gonna be 20$ or so.
because sometimes games get patched if there is enough hate after release, sometimes games are better after beta, sometimes shitty games get sponsored on popular youtube channels so they get videos made even if theyre shitty. Also I got this game free with my graphics card so i'm sure many other people that bought 1070's did as well. A lot of people like me thought the beta was fucking terrible and were really disappointed because they really WANTED and wished it would be good because like many other people I love tactical games, I love open world games, and I love co-op but unfortunately, this game is piss easy, runs poorly and have terrible mouse control
what I'm missing most in wildlands is the ability to pull bodies into cover. other than that its an awesome game. great sound, great graphics, big variety of loadout. and you really gotta use your cover. great tactical shooter.
Makes you wonder how they screwed up so bad with Breakpoint. Such a shame because I was so excited for that game and the best part about Wildlands was that it was grounded in reality, which took all out in breakpoint

The amount of funny moments I've had in this game so far and it's only day two has made this worth the money already. In the mission where you have to hack into DJ Perico's radio station I had a patrol do 3 Santa Blanca cars glitch into eachother and kill literally everyone, making the mission area have no enemies in it at all anymore. Simply bliss.
its full realism in the ghost squad universe. If you ever played the other games the whole premise is that you are the elite of the elite armed with a massive technology advantage. In future soldier you literally had a cloaking device for when you were moving slowly.
Yeah I've played the other games, and that is a large part of the premise: you have a _huge_ technological advantage over your enemies. But I can see your frustration as well.

Also go for the drone battery upgrade, you can get unlimited (not a very long lasting but unlimited) drone battery Go for the flare gun and diversion lures The flare gun will attract (about 89%) of the camp
Btw, all the sounds in Wildlands are louder in the closed areas, like buildings, as the sound waves reflect from the walls and such. So if you have the chance, you should shoot the enemy inside from the outside. Pretty cool feature, imo.

The game has a ton of great features, mostly fun gameplay, great graphics and sounds. There are just a few things that I wish were available for the more tactical players such as ability to "wait" to change time, ability to customize team loadout, and small details like having NV goggles on while NV is on.. also would be nice if bullets weren't so heavy. Some guns have insane amount of bullet drop after 200m. This game is 30% ghost recon, 70% far cry.
So is the full game worth the $60? I had fun with the beta, just not enough to convince me spend $60 on release but this seems a bit more intricate and fleshed out than the beta (yeah I know cuz it's a beta but betas nowadays are just demos (demos are suppose to convince you to buy the game) that give the publishers something to hide behind when things don't work properly). So yay or nay?
I was going to wait for a price drop, but my buddy twisted my arm and I got it. I have to say that the game is worth the $60 based on the sheer scale of this game because it is massive and you can get into a ton of things in each province which is a lot of fun. I've put in about 8 hrs of play time and I've yet to go beyond 2 provinces. Thankfully, I didn't play the beta much and I didn't even go to the 2nd map. The only negative to me as a primarily solo player is not being able to change the uniforms and gear for the AI team or be able to give them more commands like getting into vehicles, manning gun turrets at bases, and issuing individual orders.
I didn't like the beta version. my computer kept blue screening and my keyboard leds would freak out. the worst part was that this only started happening after I did the story missions.
I'm really glad I held off on buying this for a couple months having tons of fun with it and because of the wait I purchased the game for half the original price either way it is a great game and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't got it
Huh, that's funny. When I booted up the game, before do ANYTHING else I immediately went and found both the Vector and the M14 rifle as my two primaries. Pretty coincidental that we both had that same mindset.
I did that first mission yesterday. You can just fly the drone with an explosive to take out the conveyor belts, you don't even need to get in the base..
This game is so good. Doing another playthrough rn. Tier 30ish on extreme difficulty shit gets real. Did silent spade when i was still on advanced and that was super hard. I can't even imagine clearing it on extreme in tier 1..
"Pushed him into the semen block," also Unidad MOB's would be the hardest challenge on max difficulty. I did the one named after a snake (forgot the name) by moving from the landing strip to the HQ and killed around 50 Unidad
Bro when playing with AI u can "q" to sync a shot with your team, 100% they will get the kill. So if the enemie is behind a wall and u cant kill him or you want to kill 2 at the same time just let the bots do it for you :)

If you like the way rain makes it harder for them to hear or the found and combat alert balance. You should really look into metal gear solid 5. Its stealth mechanics are insane.

that's not how it works you can push over anything that doesn't explode or is a human and not get caught even though its still makes a bunch of noise.

Dont forget you can take the suppressor off at ranges of 150m or more and they wont hear the shot.

The Vector is OP, I use the HTI Sniper Rifle and the Vector. My best loadout.
