    Hi Andrew, excellent review as always. The Apollo can work with Luminair App?

      @gaffergear  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would assume so, it may be a question better asked on a Luminare users group

    Blimey Andrew, for that money I'd want a autographed photo of Elvis Presley!
    Cheers as always 🍺

    Hi Andrew, could you please recommend any batteries that can run the Apollo?

    So this is basically a direct competitor to say the rat pac AKS+ ? Assume this has somewhat better range but similar features and costs a bit more as well…?

    Is the latency that good for other apps such as luminair or just their native app?

    • @KevinWilling

      Yes the latency is low/non exsistent with Luminair and blackout. The WiFi is 5G and incredibly reliable. If your in extremely congested environments and your finding lag you can run an Ethernet cable from an iPad to the LAN port and there is zero lag again.

      I'm asking Luke at "Meet the gaffer" as he uses it with blackout software.

      @@KevinWilling I never thought of using the LAN in that way. Thanks

      He says he only gets lag if he has quite a bit of distance plus a wall between the iPad and the Apollo.
      Rest of the time he says it's instant.

    What is the model of those receivers?

    • @gaffergear
      @gaffergear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are made by Exalux. Not sore the model number but they only have a few options.

    Hi Andrew,
    Can you review a spotlight for me? I have been shopping for a full color spotlight with a rotatable barrel for a while now and I think I found one! It is the American DJ Encore Profile Pro Color RGBWAL LED Ellipsoidal. It is 250 Watt. I am familiar with ADJ, because they make a hazer I like.
    Thanks,
    Mathew
