What about liquefaction during mid to high earthquake action? Nothing built on liquefaction pronged land will not stand for long even if it is made out of cement can it?what about very high tsunamis from undersea plate tectonics and other activity such as volcanic.
The wall was tested in Denamrk by one of the world's leading marine engineering companies and successfully past tests for the worst predicted floods and storms for a 1000 years! West Africa is not at risk from earthquakes or Tsunamis, inform yourself before commneting.
I suspect the actual physics of the underlayment with this cap designed only to withstand ocean surface waves of the recent past, not the long term hydrodynamics of the thixotropic sea bed with hydrostatic changes in sea level & plate tectonics.
