Great story! Things like this happen more often than we realize and God always has the right people in place to help. There are so many elders that are lonely and need to feel loved and appreciated. They are always watching and listening and ready to lend a helping hand. We need more people like Ms. Eleanor. I’m so glad they were there to help each other. 💜

Am I the only one who was secretly hoping that Lily would be Miss Eleanor's adopted granddaughter at the end, and come spend time with her, baking cookies and reading stories together, since her heart longs for grandchildren and I heard her wish when she was sitting alone at the park feeding her birds? She sounded so sad when she was feeding the birds in the park and remembering her family and missing her grandchildren. I wanted her to have that wish come true. She sounded so sad and lonely. And I love that she does exactly that when she saw that Lily needed help. The child cried out to Miss Eleanor for help, because she was being pursued by a predator, who clearly meant her harm, and Miss Eleanor reacted by saying she was the child's grandmother, of all the roles she could have taken, since she was saying this to protect the girl from this vile monster. And not only was Miss Eleanor very brave and astute in how she reacted to this situation, and a hero for protecting this little one from a clear and present danger, she was even CLEVER about it...she knew she couldn't outrun the man, but the man following them at a distance, once Miss Eleanor and the girl were together and creating their excellent facade of being a grandmother with her granddaughter, out for an afternoon stroll, rather than approaching the girl immediately and trying to get her away from Miss Eleanor, says that he doesn't want to create a spectacle and draw attention to himself, and he followed them, probably hoping to get the girl alone again...which says he has clearly thought this out, and means to do her harm. Miss Eleanor, being the brilliant woman she is, recognized this fact, and decided to stop at a park bench and have a chat with the girl to gain information, as a doting grandmother, catching up with a beloved granddaughter that she hasn't seen in awhile, hoping someone would come along and pass them and they could get help that way, and thus, protect the girl from him without risking the safety of the girl and herself or risking a fall by just running away. And she even tricked him when she called 911 under the guise of calling Lily's Mom to make dinner plans. Well done, my dear lady. You are a hero. I enjoyed listening to your story.

I love this story and I knew that that woman was going to be a part of Lily‘s life. It doesn’t just end at dinner. She’s always gonna have Lily and her family in her life now God bless her and Lily and the family so thankful that she was safe, and also the police officers that treated her with the kindness and respect that she deserved

This story really hit my heart... Lily being saved and the love shown to Miss Eleanor. I cried after this story. I was a child who was not saved over 45 years ago now. We need more saviors and more ways to protect children and one another. In this world everything is so fast paced that we almost have blinders on and do not pay much attention to things around us. We hurry to and from work. worry about bills etc. at such a fast pace. We don't pay attention to what's around us and often also miss out on the joys of life. Slow down when you can, take a breath, Please be kind and take care of one another... have a safe fulfilled life! (In Texas)

Here in Hull UK, our schools teach all pupils about the safety and threat of strangers. If any stranger stops in a car or approach them for any reason, they are to run shouting loudly, either back into school or to a crowded place or to a person they know, friend, shop, houses etc. The police are called immediately and the schools have a system in place where they call one school about the threat and they call the next to do the same until it is all around the area and beyond. The children are taught to lock onto, as quickly as they can, any recognisable feature they may notice. Many men have been caught very quickly this way. This is a great warning and informative story to make parents understand how important it is to just listen to their children, it only takes a couple of minutes. Here, again, the schools are informed to keep a good watch, also any shops in the relevant area too. It is a system which works

While it’s amazing that Miss Eleanor saved Lily, it’s also a reminder that we live in a world where even public spaces like parks are not entirely safe. Maybe it’s time we rethink how we protect vulnerable people and question why we let dangerous individuals roam freely.

Whoever is publishing these stories, I wondered if these are either true stories that you are telling, or are you just a really good storyteller and these are stories you thought out, yourself? Because either way, I am extremely impressed. Its so rich in detail and emotion and you have a very good voice as a storyteller, and I enjoyed listening to you tell your story. I have now subscribed to your channel and look forward to listening to more of your stories in the future. As a storyteller myself, I appreciate this kind of story being told to me. And I say this BEFORE I realized I was only 15 minutes into an hour long story. For what its worth. I WANTED to spend more time with these characters and see where their story went. And he must want this pretty badly, since he had the nerve to interrupt their conversation. But while Miss Eleanor is extremely clever in how she's handling this situation, this man is clearly a fool, since he can't even think up a more creative alias than "John Smith" and he was so impatient that he barely hesitated before he upped the ante and confronted them.

I feel for any grandma who don't have get the chance to see their grandbabies. My sons both have 1 kid each. 1 lives less than an hour away but her mother remarried and doesn't let me see her. My grandson lives in another island (from New Zealand) flying is expensive but I see him a couple of times a year and vid chat with him as often as I can. My DIL sends me videos and photos.
Its an addiction they prey after these young girls because they can be easily manipulated
