Yes and No, because Canada is a cold country and depends on the province you are. So we all heat up our homes so you don't have to feel cold.

Can a family of 7 start from a basement?

This is ridiculous and NOT TRUE or accurate information. A single small room for RENT in cities across Canada will start at $900.00 for ONE person. A Two bedroom apartment starts at $2000.00 PLUS utilities which are very expensive

Hello, are you a builder or renter, and I am sure you listened to my comment about SK. If you're renting in Toronto, you sure will be paying way more. How can you say emphatically that my information shared is ridiculous and not true. I rent constantly for people, so I know and I mentioned it's a range which depends on what part of town you're renting even in Saskatoon.
We don't rent 2 beds at 2000 in Saskatoon, and I am talking about a basic rental like apartment and even bi levels and the likes.
      Thanks
