The portapack is garbage for $220 not even a coverplate to keep the internals and screen safe, and you get less fetures the using a laptop. If the Porta-Potty-pack was $20 then ya sure why not.
@@MelroyvandenBerg nope, you're just poor, and replying to old info. Nowadays, Portapack comes with HackRF and everything ready out the box already in a nice case, plus 5+ different antennas for different frequencies for under $140. $220 was 5 years ago lol. Also there's way better SDRs , we can talk about that but you can't even afford a Potapack so no use in talking about that.
I love the HackRf with portapack. Just bought a second one , the Portapack H2 with the larger screen.
After 7 years it's still very expensive.. why?
@@MelroyvandenBerg Theres functionally identical clones for 150-200 in a lot of places
it'll be awhile but I intend to buy and a Hack RF big big time.
Thanks. That adds a huge amount of features!
lol no it does not
Just use a close call scanner to get freq and tone
can it find rolling code signals automatically, without recieveing?
How is this different to velcroing cheap android phone to HackRF?
Nemanja Nedeljković link?
The video mentions alternative firmware for the portapack. Could you share a link?
Make sure you read the disclaimer. github.com/furrtek/portapack-havoc
Try the havoc firmware for portapack it’s better
