I wonder who wrote the regenerative braking bit. It's consistently mentioned as a good thing to extend the range when compared to constant speed. Which is simply wrong. Period.
The best way to extend the range is low speed constant speed. PERIOD. Regen braking is there to simply reduce the losses when braking. Which is ALWAYS something that, ideally, should be avoided since, along with high speed and high acceleration, is where most energy losses occur.
Definitely an advert but probably pays well!

They had to invent the term DTE because GOM ( Guess-o-Meter ) is what drivers invented and makes it sound amateurish instead of a sophisticated and accurate tool. But whatever they say it's still a GOM.
I liked the Ioniq 6, but I can't fit in it. Not enough adjustment of the steering wheel to my combination of legs and arms.

Absolutely true. I am always amazed how people need explaining the DTE in an electric car but naturally get the concept in an ICE car
No it’s not ice don’t have regenerative braking which affects DTE and ice don’t have eco mode driving well at least my Yeti doesn’t 😂
I have a friend who has a “Funky Cat” and I swear it’s a full time job managing DTE No thanks the only battery I want to manage is the one in my old donkey Kong game and watch. 👍
