Mike, love all your videos. I always learn something. One suggestion, instead of using a scraper to level/smooth out the glue, go to the wallpaper supplies in your neighborhood hardware store and pick up a wallpaper brush. It's wide and soft. Made to do just what you were doing, but without the possibility of tearing your paper. Thanks again.
Nice job! That backdrop looks really good. Funnily enough, my wife and I were painting trees at Pinot's Palette this past Friday. It is one of those places were you and 40 other people try to paint a particular scene. We have done a few of those classes and hang the paintings up in the house, rotating them out every few months. The model railroad painting helps out with those classes and vice versa I guess.
Looks pretty good to me. So Mike, do you think it would be worthwhile for someone starting a layout to get an airbrush to help with the weathering and the buildings? Your doing great, I learn a lot! Thanks again.
Mike, I have some pictures I took during fall while in the Figerlakes Region of New York State a few years back. What process would I need to follow to get them from my sd chip to my layout? Thanks!
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can !!!! Thank your Sir ! To me it looks great, with some practice why not paint all your backdrops ? With sky, trees, and hills it's not really painting a picture ( masterpiece) .It is just sort of dabing and mixing colors. Like you said people are looking at the big picture, not a single tree or bush. 👍👍👍

That would likely work as well.

Yes. There are things that only an airbrush can do.
Thanks , Mike
