    In regards to the leaf blower to dry a car, there is a reason for it. Most people do it so the car doesn't have water spots left on it and it reduces risk of scratching the paint. Like if you dry with a towel, it will have a higher likelihood to scratch the paint (people who have nicer cars or want to take care of there paint if it's been recently details/polish)
    Also, some people ceramic coat there cars so when it's all clean it's super easy to blow the water off to dry it and keeps the paint in tip top shape.

    I don’t think I could be less surprised by a statement than Andrew saying ‘I road-tripped to Portland last summer’

    I’m Canadian. Grew up for a bit in Kingston Ontario going to New York State for the day to do some shopping at the outlets was indeed a thing. Now I’m in Quebec and people go to Boston often for the weekend and all the old people migrate to Florida in winter.

    I love them talking about the border travel between canada us and mexico. Our family and many others where what was called snow birds, which just means you'd spend the winter in texas and thats what my grandparents would do every winter. So the last time we visited we drove from our home in winnipeg, for 3 days to magic valley Weslaco Texas where all the streets are named after things from our province of manitoba canada. Then walked across the mexico border and toured around for the day in Progresso for the day and I was nearly not not allowed back into the us as I didnt have a passport, all i had was a birth certificate and nearly got detained while i was then surrounded by border security., fun times...Ill always remember that trip because of RT because at the time id just discovered rvb and was trying to convince my dad to atleast do a drive by of 636 ralph ablanedo just to say id seen where it was all was happening as we were coming through austin on i35 only seconds off the freeway but oh well... atleast i was close by.. anyways hope someone finds my rant into the void interesting

    Barbara should do a short series where she debunks myths and life hacks and call it the 'De-Dunked show'

    LMAO Barbera!!! I'm a Massage Therapist going on 4 years in July, I'd get my clients sooo relaxed they'd just let loose and fart while falling asleep at the same time. My first year, I'd never been farted on more. I have soo many stories with clients and farting.

    I assume Oranda comes from Holland (drop the H, L becomes R, and words can't end with what we consider consonant sounds so add an A).

    Assuming 8 hours for sleep/rest/eating you could do 912 hours of walking in 57 days.

    • @laser8389
      @laser8389 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, the furthest you could walk in the US without ferries or border crossings would be from Border Field State Park in CA to West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in ME, which is 1,065 hours, or 44 days 9 hours straight, or 66 days 9 hours with 8 hours of rest per day. If you could cross borders, it would be somewhere in AK to Key West (I'm assuming there is pedestrian access along US-1), but I can't figure out how far northwest in AK you can go on foot without straight-up wilderness exploring.

    I used Google maps to check the furthest southwest point of the continental united States to the furthest northeast point of the continental united states (me just dropping pins on the map) it comes out to 44 days and 7 hours. I'd say triple that time to account for 8 hours walking, 8 hours sleeping, 8 hours miscellaneous
