- Hiii Everyone! I'm back! So sorry for such a long break! I have been on tour with a K-Pop group so it's been a bit busy!
Today we have a fun interview with the amazing Up & Poom from the series My Stand-In! We dive deep into their characters, their first impressions of each other and much more!
My Stand In, starring Up Poompat as Ming and Poom Phuripan as Joe airs Sundays on iQIYI. Joe, the stunt man of famous actor Tong, happened to meet Ming. Having developed a deep relationship, Joe didn't realise that Ming had always seen him as Tong's replacement. When the truth is revealed, Joe has to take work on a foreign set where an accident takes his life.
When he wakes, Joe's in the body of a young man likewise named Joe who'd met with an accident on the same day. With help, he's soon living the same life as he was before-with the same people-and he meets Ming once more. In this life, Ming wants Joe back at his side as before and Joe doesn't know why. Ming, who's kept all memories of the old Joe, tries to find the truth about Joe's continued life in order to return Joe to his side and give him the explanation he never had the chance to.

I love Up's accent when he is speaking English, clear definitely has international exposure but with his own mix of accent. I can't get enough of mingjoe (watch cos of poom bake me please) n now watching lovely writer thinking how amazing Up is doing both Gene n Ming.. i like Ups description of Ming : spoilt brat with a bad temper😂

Ohh amazing up..he will said all characters of their stories my stand in was so good..i really love my stand in story line..I never watch BL but this story make me watching..i feel always crazy when ming character up's and down the emotions as jealousy turn into madness..and pity joe fir being stand in of his lover i felt the pain it's like you're heart a lot of turn and bleeding.

Poom likes ming more than up
They are in this moment the strongest BL couple. Professional, natural chemestry, a very strong bond, respecting each other so much, supporting each other so much. The mature fandom from BL world is finally having a mature couple with strong chemestry. A huge fandom is already dedicated to these 2 great actors. We love them a lot and we will always support them.
P.s. Up please teach Poom some english. For our pretty boy was really difficult to deal with this beautiful interview cause of this situation. And the fans know that Poom has a lot of good things to say.

I absolutely love UP’S voice speaking English. He’s playing the heck out of the role of Ming. After seeing his soft side in Lovely Writer, seeing the expansion and level of how talented he is in My Stand In - mind blown. UP and POOM are both amazing actors. Their chemistry is chemistrying. My Stand-in is the best BL currently running. The only 10 I've given in the last couple of years. Up's performance, in particular, is out of this world.

UP and Poom are brilliant actors. They definitely need lots of recognition for their brilliant acting. In “My Stand In” their acting is superb. The script and also the actors have played their characters superbly.
I love the difference in energy between those two, one is so excited to talk about everything while you can feel like the language difference is stopping the other a little but it's cute to watch in a way

My stand in definitely best Thai bl of all time for me.. the depth n uniqueness in the story.. the way the story is being executed n the way UP n POOM have brought the characters alive with their potrayal .. simple mind blowing n stunning.!!
Joe character is easily lovable with the trouble he is been in … but fr me Ming’s character is a game changer ..how rough n cold he acts for a minute( not even fr good 2 mins cuz the hidden cutie potatoo he is)
I believe it’s Ming’s love fr Joe that Joe has to come back to him n for them to be together(though in diff body) n also Ming’s got a chance that he truly deserves to express his true love to his Joe 🥹

The issue is that Thailand industry is such a big mess for u to be famous u need to accept that Bl dramas which is so annoying bt if u noticed Up try so many dramas with different characters he did not stick on that fake services with his other co asctors he played horror drama,MV,step up with his GF he did not stick to this BL thing and by the way he Was always shy and ashamed of his NC scenes says alot about him he is so respectful and he is not like other actors he dnt fake things he did not do such openly NC scenes at all. He try to be decent compared to that thailands dramas. And i know soon he will build his own agency or get a job on his own fields of study
