New subscriber here 😊 The low light photos were so awesome! And I'm watching this 5 days after you've posted it and you're already almost at 700 subs. I have a feeling you'll be reaching 1K quite soon!
Hey, thank you for subscribing! I love the colours I got from those low light photos, it’s just a shame they were so noisy haha. I honestly would be so so happy to reach 1k, it’s definitely a personal goal of mine for this year but I didn’t think it would be achievable AT ALL. Thanks for the lovely comment
@@deryncorbett Personally I don't mind noise coming from shooting film so it actually adds to the photo more than it takes away. Just goes to show how subjective photography can be!
Please keep doing it. I really like how you explain the little things when you take a new photo. I got my X100V a couple days ago and already loved it.
You made the best video about process of the street photography I've ever seen. And used the camera I dream about :) Thank you for this! I'll be waiting for more such videos from you ^.^
@@deryncorbett yes, I was contemplating whether or not to get this camera but the pictures you took were amazing. Hopefully I can take photos like yours one day 😤👌🏼
Subscribed, your channel is amazing and inspiring, just bought a fujifilm x100f loving it so much and I was wondering what film simulation you're using, your photos are beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on the new subscribers. Best wishes for you and the channel. Awesome video. Do you use back button focus on these POV street photography? Thanks!
Hello from France. Just discovering your video. It’s great 👍🏻. Learning a bit photography, shooting with x100v, I really appreciate the format of your video and your detailed comment about inspiration, composition and settings. Describing all your creative process is a good idea. All these details are so interesting and useful. Plus your pics look great. Please keep going this way ;-)
Love your content so down to earth and once again another cracking video! And of course love your work 👍 Can’t wait to get out with my Fuji 😊 just need to wait for my straps lol
Another thing to turn off is the joystick... Maybe you haven't had this problem but I found my thumb would unwittingly knock the joystick moving the focal point away from the centre point. This meant I hadn't noticed until it was too late that the camera focused on something other than the thing I was aiming for. You'll find the option in the menus... PS. I now use a thumb rest and handgrip but I still have the joystick switch off.
I’m still getting to grips with using the camera, it’s so different to my EOS R. I’ve been using the joystick to move my focus point around but definitely looking to try other methods too. Thanks for watching 😊
@@deryncorbett I went from an X-T1 to the X100V and bought a JJC hand grip and Lensmate Thumbrest to make it more comfortable to grip. Both cameras had little in the way of a grip to get hold of. Also, both cameras have the same problem of shutter release positioning (for me (the X-T4 solved that problem) which made them uncomfortable to use... The thumb rest and grip made all the difference for me. Yes, it made the X100V heavier and larger but ill take that over comfort any day.
I know! Insanity. There was a fair bit of noise but LR definitely softened it a little. I wasn’t too bothered in this case as I was just shooting for fun. Thanks for watching! 😁
Nice video! and beautiful shots I just went on a snowy photo walk with my X100v this weekend!! I wish i made a video too! You can check my IG tho! - Slicktor

@@Arianna-zx1ro so true! Since looking at some of the Fuji simulations, I see a lot of them add grain, so I’m excited to explore them 😊
We do like the leaf shutter sound. It's a beautiful sound this camera makes.
Absolutely! So quiet and subtle

can you share the presets?)
12800 iso ! too much noise? or in Lr is solvable ?
