بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي اِسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد و بارك وسلم
اما بعد
Quran - Surah No. 28 القصص
Ayah No. 82
أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
وَاَصۡبَحَ الَّذِيۡنَ تَمَـنَّوۡا مَكَانَهٗ بِالۡاَمۡسِ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ وَيۡكَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَقۡدِرُ‌ۚ لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ مَّنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡنَا لَخَسَفَ بِنَا‌ ؕ وَيۡكَاَنَّهٗ لَا يُفۡلِحُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ  (82)
Translation:
And those who wished to be in his position the day before, started saying, "Oh, it seems that Allah extends provision to whom He wills and straitens (for whom He wills). Had Allah not favoured us, He would have made us sink (too). Oh, it seems that the infidels do not succeed." ؏
we continue the topic of qarun.. his pride and arrogance destroyed him, and a lesson for those after him.. to prevent them going in that direction also
we should always seek the protection of Allah Ta'ala, from his anger and punishment.. and live a life accordingly
if we obey him, he will provide from places where we cannot imagine... and punishment can come if we disobey him
anyway, the land qarun was on, the house was on, it swallowed him up, with his wealth... no-one knows his conditions now, except for Allah Ta'ala
This is Allah Ta'ala who is independent, doesn't need anyone. No one has ever helped him or will ever help him.. he isn't like the king of this world who have the seat if there are supporters... and lose the seat once they are gone... Allah Ta'ala isn't like that
therefore, we should live a life of obedience to Allah Ta'ala
in the story of qarun we mentioned that once he was walking with his pride and wealth.. one group wished they had such honor and style ... the other group of good people shunned this life style away, and reminded themselves and others of ever lasting blessings of the hereafter... however the condition is iman
meaning the wealth and luxury of this world is going to expire and Allah Ta'ala gives it to whosoever his wishes, even non Muslims.. but the mercy in the hereafter is only for the people with iman, and will he given everlasting jannah
what we learn is that we should remove pride and arrogance, embrace satisfaction with what we have been given, have sabr.. hope for hereafter
anyway, Allah Ta'ala has spoken about the 1st group about qarun ... that having wealth isn't a sign of the happiness of Allah Ta'ala and success of this world
_the greed of wealth is going to want more and more.. until death fills our stomach.. Hadith
we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the ability to practice upon what we have heard. Ameen
سبحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا انْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتْوبُ إِلَيْكَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
