Yes it will work. I checked on my Macbook Pro connected with my Dell P2419H and using Logitech M170 wireless mouse with its wireless dongle connected to the monitor's USB hub, it works like a charm! 👍🏻

Sir, what about text quality in display of Dell P2419H monitor 27 inch ? Are the Text crystal clear or blurred?
I will not recommend 1080p monitor in 27”inch size. Its best to go with upto 24”inch for 1080p full hd resolution monitor. ✌🏻

Hi, great video. Planning to buy the Dell one based on your review for wfh purposes. As my laptop has just one usb port, can I use the USB ports in the Dell monitor for Keyboard and mouse on both the laptop and monitor. If yes, how?
Dell comes with an in built USB hub. You can use monitor’s USB ports to connect your mouse and keyboard but you need to have a USB hub for that or a USB A to monitor USB hub connecting cable.

@@sameekshamishra9778 You will require a A-Male to B-Male USB cable. You can check online for the same, Amazon basics also has that cable you can find it on Amazon. You will have to connect that cable from your laptop to the monitor to use monitor’s USB hub. It will be included with the Dell monitor out of the box. Once connected with this, you can use all the USB slots in the monitor (Dell has 4 USB slots, 2 on the back and 2 on the sides) to plug in a mouse, keyboard, webcam or any other accessory. HDMI cable will not be sufficient to use the monitor’s USB hub, as that is only to project that laptop’s display on to the monitor.

I have bought Benq monitor with November manufacturing.....i have replaced it three times still has a issue ..the top part has little gap between panel and body and blue light is coming out of it ....Do you also have this issue..

You can go with BenQ EW2480 or GW2480 (which is around the price of 10k) if you a basic requirement similar to that you have mentioned.

What I see from my screen. Benq colors look more natural. Dell seems to over saturated on Reds are not pure Red. They look Magenata.

My need is programming + reading + movies. Will 27 inch be a bad option with 1080p?
27”inch is not recommended with 1080p, as in many occasions the picture is not that sharp. In my opinion 1080p is sufficient till 24”inch for best experience 27”inch should have 1440p.
27" inch 1080p would work, if you are using it for chart watching. But for videos or other use, 1440p is recommend for 27" inch.

Full form of HDR is high dynamic range. So, HDR basically increases the range of contrast and color on compatible televisions and monitors. The brights become brighter and the colours, more colourful. HDRi is emulated HDR and it enhances the overall picture quality. There is a dedicated button on BenQ monitor for HDRi using which you can turn it on or off by a single press, its very easy and convenient. ✌🏻

Some people say that HDRi on causes more strain on the eye so they turn it off. If that is something that you don’t feel, the best viewing experience is with HDRi on in my opinion.

What about acer 23.8inch monitor bro?
If majority of your work is this, you can go for BenQ GW2480 (not EW, but GW), instead of these two or even Acer, since BenQ GW2480 cheaper and more value for money. Also, since you will not be gaming you don't need 75Hz display as well as FreeSync so no point spending more on that, same is applicable for HDR as well. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Hi, I need a monitor just for my office needs - PowerPoint and Excel. I have always used my laptop (HP elitebook) for my official needs. I now need a monitor because using the laptop is causing eye and back strain. Can you please suggest a monitor for my needs (1080p with height adjustment)?
One other question - You have mentioned it in the video for Dell, but why does one need usb ports for a monitor. Can't we just plug the mouse to the laptop and connect the monitor via HDMI (Sorry if it's a dumb question but I have no clue about all this)
I will suggest you to go with Dell as I use it for almost the same requirements that you have mentioned and its really comfortable and convenient with its adjustable height and position.
Yes you are right you can plug the mouse/keyboard or any other accessories via the laptop itself. USB ports are just good to have in case someone wants to connect a pen drive or a Webcam in that sense, not a mandatory feature of course. Monitor can be definitely connected via the HDMI cable. ✌🏻

Yes dell is more color accurate and causes lesser strain on the eyes. If you go with dell you will miss out on in-built speakers and high refresh rate AMD free sync display, if these are points which you think you should have then I will recommend you to go with LG 24MP88HV, as it is more balanced and somewhere in between Dell and BenQ in terms of features.
Are both compatible with wireless keyboard and mouse?
Dell P2419H comes with a dedicated USB Hub in the monitor itself so you can directly plug (a wireless dongle or adapter) and use a wireless keyboard and mouse via the monitor itself. BenQ EW2480 doesn’t have a dedicated USB hub in the monitor but yes still can be used with a wireless keyboard and mouse, by plugging in the wireless dongle in the laptop or desktop. I hope that answers your query.
This prpblem with benq can easily be fixed by changing the picture mode.

There is an option in windows to set refresh rate. Also it automatically switches to 75hz when it receives content with high refresh rate.

Philips looks good on paper but I haven’t had an opportunity to use it myself. Although its rated very high on Amazon, only 40 ratings are present. Some difference which I can see is that Dell doesn’t have inbuilt speakers while it is there in Philips. Dell on the other hand has some really good tilt and height adjustment options.

All monitors do strain our eyes on long time usage. If it strain your eye, reduce the brightness according to your room lighting condition. BTB dell's picture quality and sharpness is unmatchable. I have both dell s2419h for productivity and Benq ex2510 for gaming.

I am undecided between Lg GN600 (144hz ips 200 eur) and the Benq EW2480 (75hz hdr ips 150 eur) I bought the xbox Series S and I play exclusively at Fifa / Nba so 60fps maximum. I would like to choose a monitor with a good quality image but I am undecided if 144hz is better than 75hz with hdr even if I will not play with 120fps. What do i choose?

I think you need to reduce red in dell
There is no option to adjust reds separately in Dell. Only option is to choose between RGB and YPbPr

Bhai tu bilkul galat bol raha hai . First picture mein hi dekh lo Dell mein bohat hi zeada bluish hai ,agar tumne aisi picture apni reality (eyes) mein dekhi ho . Benq ke colours warm nahi hai balki absolutely natural hai . Kya yaar bhai itna galat review.

Aye bhai @Unbox Daily Tech I too use the same benq monitor. You don't plug n play everything. You need to calibrate once you get an ips monitor 🙄

Thanks for the feedback, but I meant for drivers that you don’t have to install any specific drivers to use the monitor. Obviously every screen will have to be calibrated as per your liking/choice/lighting conditions for the best viewing results. ✌🏻
