Ben, you and bosky from big bear banglore are two persons who are actually working so heartfully on himmy. Even though i own adv 390 😂 i just love to watch this level of enthusiasm amongst fellows on social media. And I'd also suggest you to think about changing both the rims with the alluminium one's. Since you mentioned, not changing the himmy in coming period so might as well a great corner to consider. It will make himmy lighter and faster by quite much weight.
Ben for the Himi? I guess that works, kinda like me talking to myself... Anywho the vid was great and I'm looking forward to the install video. SW Colorado Adventures did a Tec Camshaft after install ride that might be interesting to watch. Once you can go full bore we'll see what you think. Can't wait for everything that's on the way. Cheers!
Ben, my bros and I have traditionally named our bikes with respect to our opposite gender. We're all dudes, so we've named our bikes with typically female names (Betsy, Daisy, Lewellyn) for good luck. Let's hope Ben is good luck for you!!
Hi Ben, the issue of the headlight and dashboard lights 'flickering' is almost certainly due to a soft or tired battery. Charge the battery over night and watch the behaviour on start-up of the lights.
Very interested if you can track your fuel economy until well after the new cam is run in, maybe 2k past run in, so you can compare fuel vs hp and whether the increase in power is worthwhile.
Want to know you opinion on E20 fuel. As you now govt. is started pushing E20 fuel step by step in whole India, how you see it damage Himalayan fuel system that are not yet E20 compatible? I think this is serious issue in term of bike maintenance.
@@kevinvargeo 🙂you should have started with that( your situation) . It took over two years to completely heal because I WOULDNT REST . Also my clavicle did not break into two .
Hey Ben.need a little help. I own a BS4 2020 himalayan. Planning to modify for better performance. I am confused between Tec Camshaft and Bigbore kit. Pls help.
Bro, i own 2016 bs3 him, just now did a service where they missed to find charging issue. I had to change battery and figured it was from magneto coil and that too got replaced in re centre. I am seeing sudden spike in rpm till 8 even for a small throttle. They are saying its because of cam issue which may require lath work. Also starting the bike without choke is always stalling. Your thoughts pls! Pls suggest a good himalayan mech in Chennai
Hi Brother i need your help my himalyan is making to much noise after riding it for couple of kms when i revv it around 3-4k it makes noise (empty vessels are crashing) please help me coz service center are here to jst loot and they didnt resolve it. Please help mine is bs6 2020 dec model
As he didn't replied, can i share my experience. ? Fuel x pro would help to reduce a little bit knocking. Before that checkup with a himalayan specialist mechanic if the timing chain and valves are okay. If it runs inproper for a while, things get complicated. I got badly cheated by pussy RE service center gus, till the end of my engine warrenty, they said it's normal. Get it engine checked and invest a 10k on fuel x pro. Don't put that shitty RE liquid gun oil. Put good oils like motul fully/semi synthetic or shell semi synthetic or putoline or motorex. Hope this helps.
@@yasin_mhd_ Thanks bro for sharing your experience i have already shifted from RE oil to Motul Semi Synthetic.... visible differences in gear shifting & performance.... i need to check my valve clearance i think that may be the reason so gonna get it done from some specialist & if needed will change the spark plugs too ... thanks for reaching out buddy 👍
