I have only been spending 50 cores per day since the level cap increase. I do the 50 cores to also get the energy from the web milestone. I just hit level 101 today, and it has only been 10 days. And even if I was running behind, the last legendary before Prof X is coming up, so I am prioritizing my cores for the new characters that will be released in the near future that will be required for that.
I know a lot of people are still short on purple iso, but compared to Mephisto, I do think players are getting Odin faster than other DD characters in the past. I think they want players to be able to unlock Odin during the Age of X. Similarly, I think they want players to be at 105 and ready for g20 in time for when the Prof X release arrives. They will not say that because they rather let players fomo, but that is just how I perceive what has been happening.

I have been spending just enough power cores to max the web milestone to the 9th tier and get the daily 50 to get that extra energy and such.
How exactly will we core for this new stuff if we need to core for new characters?

New year, new life kind of thing. Just want something new on my end and I've always been more comfortable in Europe. There was few countries with visa's available post age 30, or in this case it ended at 35 so have to take advantage of it now.
The earliest for g20 has to be after March 3 when they fix the Hercules weapon slot unique. No way they launch a new teir before a fix like that
That seems correct. Level 105 came out exactly one day earlier this year then level 100 came out last year (1/22/24). G19 came out on 3/6/24. They probably have to do an OTA to fix Hercules before g20 goes into the game. So 3/3-3/5 seems highly probable for g20 to arrive.

Plus already got 101 after a week. I anticipate I'll get 102 by mid next week and my suggestion is leveling up the double type characters like Peter B Parker and Spider-gwen or Kestrel, not gonna name the others but you get the gist.
How can you break the top 10000 of omega training with power cores I don’t get it please
The likely scenario that they will announce it 3-4 days before it launches... things like that always feel like a slap in the face to our time... no other game have i played where they don't want you to be able to be prepared. Its like they care more about getting a leg up on us over us being able to consolidate our time/resources. Scopely really acting like they are carrying out executive orders... so fitting for the times where i live. Can't wait for another Marvel game that actually respects the community, culture and our time.
I have played tons of games with the marvel skin used to promote the game, and let me tell you, they aren't made for your enjoyment, they slap on the marvel skin to bring you in cash in that leave, most of the marvel games I have played are no longer available, so hoping for a marvel game to save us from MSF is a great dream to have, but its just that. You have to save yourself by either dropping the game, if you can call it that or finding another game that gives you that excitement, its not easy to find, if it were MSF would have died to its clones long ago.
@hobbiesaplenty4017 you are entitled to your own experience. There already other Marvel games that i have enjoyed but just don't want to replay. There are also a couple in Development. You have some truth in your statements that i can relate to; BUT you are not a psychic who knows the future and you do not know what makes my experience satisfactory. Just because i have hope where you have biased skepticism (which can be justifiable and you are not wrong for feeling that necessarily) doesn't alter things that are out of both of our hands. 🤷🏿♂️
@@muteninjaturtle I can agree with you however im just being realistic, maybe it comes off as being skeptical in the landscape. Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion and I welcome them all, but devs have a long track record of slapping on the marvel sticker to give it more life than it deserves, it would be great to have a actual competitor to MSF, I look for great titles often and have been disappointed time after time but still hopeful because in the end, once everyone stops paying for content MSF is going to pack up, until than I enjoy the ride.

I enjoy Insomniac's Marvel games and they have more than one project in development; Wolverine will go Gold within next few months likely. Not to forget also the next Spiderman game. 1943 will be doing the same soon. I won't let go of my own personal scepticism; but at the same time its not unrealistic to expect either of those games to be what i personally will enjoy. Insomniac never asked for me to pay for a full experience after buying the game.

I have had no problems winning arena. But there is still no rush and that’s just FOMO talking, you’ll still get your levels
I still want all the exp i got when i hit 100 over 6 months ago... Where did all that extra exp go that should have went towards when they did the cap ?
Zitch, Kah, Apoc, Phisto, Odin, glad, Than(EG), sus and OML I think are the current best “10” traits/chars, but that is just me that is Arena Def, And 3 plug and play and a duel trait that I think is gonna be clutch down the road!

If they implement G20, they should have another event store where we can buy g20 mini uniques. So another gold spending spree I guess.

They won't add g20 for mooooooonths afterwards. G20 minis in the gold store would be far to player friendly.

I've been spending at least 200 cores daily and playing actively how are you so far ahead of me in XP? I just reached 101 yesterday.
Boilon was hoarding his campaign or iso energy before. That's why. Lots of content creators did thst to prepare for levle 105. Range gsming had 29k iso energy banked up.....
@ziljin I saved energy as well and cores. Not 29k however.
I forgot how much energy boilon saved but I'm sure it was a lot.
I had around 23k energy when level cap got lifted.
I had around 45k between iso and camp energy, got a decent head start. I think I'll take Boilon advice and stop coring, I saved heavy for Mephisto and got in top 150

Post Odin doesn't mean you don't need purple iso crystals/Isos man. Iso 3 is obviously the requirement going forward for events like tower, DDs, PDs, etc. Taking a few characters to iso 3 took like 2 million iso credits. Im assuming Age of X will need a ton of characters at Iso 3 since its so many nodes. Player discretion advised on purple iso hoarding
Also wouldn't be surprised if DD9 or Age of X have a purple iso *5* requirement. Which you're going to need to have a huge hoard for. Maybe you could do a math speculation video on how much iso 3 crystals/credits would be needed for a hypothetical purple iso 5
There is more than enough passive ways to get purple ISO that you don't need to core for events to do this. Event inclusion requiring Purple 3 ions is not fast enough to warrant bothering for events post Odin. Purple 4/5 does not require Purple 1 ions, its already in the datamine files what it costs. regular Purple crystals of course will be required and this could be a bottleneck.
I think the bottleneck for purple iso will continue to be ions. We get tons of crystals organically, but ions on the other hand are far more scarce and cause issues if you aren't buying passes or whaling hard on events that rewards the ions. Which are essentially cash grabs.

If you aren't 105, you wouldnt buy G20 pieces, they are speeding us into fomo.
I mean that's not true. You would buy G20 minis in preparation of 105, but you'll be there before G20 comes out so it probably doesn't matter.

The only reason to rush to "race to 105" is if you're a super sweaty kracken who spent crazy mony to 7 star ompf.
You need to be on point with Arena to keep up with coring anything but the whales control Arena around 20s and above
I’m completely F2P and am always rank 1-20 every day and have been for as long as I can remember. Apart from the initial release of Odin when I dropped to 20-40 for a while. Most days I don’t even attack. Since the shadow king trick I have to do 2-3 attacks daily hold them spots.
@@Plooss Depends on your bracket. I'm a light spender and I struggle to stay in the top 50. I'm surrounded by Odins.
The current arena meta has been F2P farmable for awhile now. This includes Mephisto, Annihilators, Shadow King (event ran twice) and even Odin. The difference between 100-105 doesn't matter, and diamonds/RS aren't enough to affect the outcome. The Arena reward changes also make the core difference such a minimal change for people, it's not enough to fight for.
@@unthinkable1063 It's a fair hypothesis, but my personal experience so far seems to contradict it. *shrug* Something like 95% of my fights are mirror matches, and I have won by a slim margin, enough that it could be argued I was saved by the extra bit that a level provides. Every day I fall into top 100 and have to fight my way back into top 50, which is a difference of 100 power cores, which is not insignificant.
@@keiliusShadow King makes it super ez to climb and beat the mirror matches. All it really comes down to is if your arena shard is active or not
Man it's so hard to keep up with anything in this game as a F2P player or even a light spender.
