I used Celetex balloons, not too bad. I did a tower for our Thanksgiving Fellowship & their retro chocolate was beautiful!!! Only two balloons popped in the midst of inflating other than that, good quality.
Great info, I've learned a lot from your videos so TY. MSR Balloons and AL Party Ballons are also great options for USA buyers. I had to buy from them because bargin balloons was out of the sizes I needed. Their pricing is pretty low, compared to LA Balloons and shipping was fast as well. I live in LA and only use LA Balloons if I can't wait for shipping. At MSR Ballons you do have to spend a minimum of $100. Tried a few of the prima ballons, and they are pretty good.
I was waiting for you to discuss this situation. I was disappointed because I love Sempertex quality. I also noticed the prices of Sempertex balloons on other websites are very much higher than balloons online. Its definitely a bomber. I did give Celetex balloon brand a try and they are holding up pretty well. I can't wait to see what you think of the other balloon brands and backdrops that you may do.
I am so loyal to the balloon brands that I use. Sempertex is my favorite. But this year is teaching me to branch out because you never know what will happen with these balloon brands…
I'm definitely sad about no more sempertex. I reached out to balloons online about this over 2 weeks ago and they said they are no longer selling to the US only Canada. I ordered three different options they have so I can test them out (Celetex, Belbal and Tuftext). I used Celetex yesterday, and they were actually ok. I also tried to use Tuftext yesterday, but they were tight when blown up, so I didn't use them for yesterdays install. It's a no for tuftex unless used for indoor, not outdoor. The last one to try is Belbal. I'm going to order Prima to test them out as well.
No, it's because originally Betallic only wanted to sell Sempertex under their brand name. They did so for years. Only after Balloons Online made Sempertex ridiculously popular did Betallic now want to change their Betallatex to the Sempertex name.
Try LA Rocks Balloons in North Carolina. They sell Sempertex/Betallatex. They're a little bit more money, but they have them. I order from them quite often.
Should have known when Bargain Balloons stopped selling them as one of their main brands some time ago. I’ve been rocking with Decomex though and have never had an issue. What Decomex don’t have Kalisan and Tuftex got. Never had an issue with shipping from Bargain. They are either right on time or early
Hi. Well I wanted to let you know that I tried the Prima brand this past weekend and I will NOT be buying that brand again. First of all, they do not double stuff well. It leaves streaks in between the balloons. You have to coat the inside balloon with talcum powder. I remember this happening to Gemar balloons a while back. Second, they kept popping! Yes, they kept popping and would leave the inner balloon exposed so it messed up my color scheme. I was not happy. I double stuffed caramel by Prima with cocoa by Tuftex inside. I used 5”, 11”or I think they use 12”, and 18”. They all were terrible to work with. I will not be buying that brand again. None of my Tuftex balloons popped…Tuftex is by far my favorite brand. Can’t wait to see what you think about Primal brand.
@Yes! Event Decore and more but only Balloons on line are the ones to stop selling Sempertex due to a feeling of negotiation and taxes issues, the rest of the providers still selling Sempertex

Betallic was jealous so they did a bunch of legal stuff with Sempertex so they're the only ones "allowed" to sell Sempertex in the US and blocked sales to Balloons Online. It's why the prices are so much higher from other US stores because Betallic is a middle man and all Sempertex sales need to go through them. Even all other distributors who need to buy from Betallic are upset. So every store you buy from, Betallic gets a cut for doing nothing. Very shady company. It's too bad, because Sempertex was my favorite brand, but I will not support them as long as Betallic is involved. I'm more than happy with the new brands, and saving a ton of money in the meantime.

So what I heard is that Sempertex & Betallatex where the same but they had to use the Betallatex name in the US bc of some name lawsuit issue.

I hate to hear that. That's where I got my sempertex from also. I love their quality, colors and their sizes. My local provider only sells Gemar. 😢
