Awesome video, and yup it's cold out there - sorry to see the fall we've all been thru that here in the North Country - I really like those WNY & P "AC6000"
Amazing video, my friends btw want to know which 98 series dash 9s arrived at the plant here in Erie since they don't know why they came so early ahead of the other 95s, 96s, & 97s
@@stephankoenig5481 one CPKC employee had told me few months ago he heard from their shop manager it was planned to get 300 new locomotives in which 170 new GEs and 130 EMDs would equal 300

@ awesome!
What are the numbers of the two AC6000s that came from WNYP?
All of them are here now. 6000 and 6006 are in service.
Cool mirror shot! Hope you didn't hurt that rock when you fell on it...
@@thomaskenney Ha ha! It will never be the same!
This will be the new GEVO.
@@RAtheGoodRailfanner_888 Ya never know. So far US railroads arrent too interested in them.
At least all of the former WNYP 6000's are together. Ill have to come see a test train sometime!
@@GriffinBrooks17 2 are active at least one more maybe soon.
@@stephankoenig5481What’s the status of the rest of the AC6000’s? Are they all still sitting stored outside?
Around what time does Wabtec do their testings and is it usually daily? I might come up and visit Erie when it gets warmer (if I have time)
It varies. Most new stuff is now in the early morning. Some tests after sunrise.
@stephankoenig5481 I gotcha. Thanks for the info 👍
@@RailfanKnexified Glad to help!
Your okay 👌
Any updates on CPKC SD70ACe-T4 planning lately? I believe they’re still working on the order
@@detroitdieselseries5071 It looks like it will all be Wabtec power for 2025.
@ was told that CPKC and EMD are still working on SD70ACe-T4s unless that’s for 2026
@detroitdieselseries5071 It could be. They will be getting 170 units from Wabtec.
