Have a system with a 3060 12gb and a laptop with a 4050. Considering the possible performance improvements that will be made, I’d say those should run well, hopefully???

The optimization in this game is so bad that older GPUs fail to load textures properly, causing the weird polygons and transparent ground. I ran into this issue in Horizon Zero Dawn with a failing 5600XT 6GB.
That's not an old GPU problem that's is on their end I have a 1070 super and didn't see one polygon my brother has a 3070 and he was seeing all the monsters as polygons...
People reported it happens if you load the game and the vram isn't enough. Sometimes it's the CPU not fast enough to load the textures in realtime. My RX 580 8GB doesn't have Polygons but the fps is unplayable :(

i tested on the beta w my 7800xt with a ryzen 5800x same settings and was getting 79 max but i locked to 60 fps, small decreases when first loading only. idk how u managed to get these drops. (frame gen off btw, was causing lots of visual problems)

Monster Hunter franchise has strong fanbase compared to Dragons Dogma 2 that's why people forgot the game immediately while hoping Capcom would issue a patch to improve it. But yeah I also noticed wukong immediately disappeared after a month had passed. I'm also with you towards hoping the next generation of games would prioritize performance before quality.

Seems a little bit of performance is lost due to the CPU, my 7800XT gets like 10-15 ish more frames with a 7800X3d, though I cant use the framegen as the AMD framegen in this game is horrible with ghosting for me. At least I can run it over 60, but Im basically the only one I personally know who can.
the only way to run test on 1060 were to go "Native" any non-native setting caused blackscreen on whole 10th gen, including res. scaling. This is all that the bug affeted, otherwise the game is 15 fps anyhow, or fake 30-35 with huge artifacts of shadowtrails of framegen. Therefore = shit. I think i want 4070 super for this game (my CPU seems to be close to yours 7500F, but my gpu is 1060 atm, lol)

If you're building a new PC, you should go for the AM5 platform. But if you're upgrading an existing AM4 setup, the 5800X3D is your best option, as all other AM4 CPUs will bottleneck the 7800 XT.
My old GPU was a rx470 and I could run games that look much better than this, at this point is just devs being lazy or overusing effects that hit performance with no really gain in visual.
Really huge cpu bottleneck, not gonna said it cpu fault but about the game is the problem since the game cant utilize cpu usage and let it bottleneck, 7800xt has to be around 250-280w but in this game is only 220w.
Everyone please remember that this is a beta, it means that it won't be as optimized as a conplete game, i'm not saying that capcom can make a 10 year old pc run this, but rather that there might be some changes in the optimization of the game
Lets compare to MH worlds. MH worlds has some problem about blurry image. Also this game. But, if you put world with no CAS, high image quality, no AA and inject your self the AA I can have amazing graphics. Running 120fps, no Frame Generation, no FSR, using only 60% of my RX 7900 XT at 1440p. Now, this game FSR is broked. Frame Generation is broked. The only way to have good quality image is using FSR as AA native. Again no AA, injecting it. But still looks worst, making my card at 100% getting 40 to 60fps at 1440p. And I have top CPU and RAM. That is not my problem. Even on that condition game doesn't looks like on native resolution, looks blurry and worst. That is a massive no for me.
I don't understand this now, does this game cause this much trouble on the RX 580 like Alan Wake 2? I didn't really like this game anyway, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is better than it and I don't think it will cause that many problems.
It's not optimized well for older gen GPU, especially this is beta of a new game which was updated quickly for 3 days network test from their previous preview builds. Also the amound of simulation happening in this is much more then Elden Ring when many bosses don't wander around whole map and interact with each other. Also look at physics simulation - the fluid movements of creatures and player, and Doshaguma fur react to your attacks on its body, explosive attacks create burned wounds instead of white scars too

5700x3d will give you a really good uplift in performance. Also, with a 7800xt and a 5700x3d, you need a 600 watts power supply. So, you don't need to change anything else in your build. Personal Opinion, If you undervolt gpu, it will perform cooler and will give better performance (Same for cpu but people like to use PBO even tho it's not always the perfect thing for their case scenarios).
This is the perfect example of lazy programmers, its unbelievable that i can play RDR2 in ultra but still can't even play this demo cause everything looks like N64 and run at 7-11 fps.

Guys. This is not 1440p. This is WQHD. I actually run Monster Hunter max settings (Ultra isn't preset isn't max settings) native res at at ±70FPS. The game is mostly limited by CPU I'm using a 7600X clocked at 5,4GHz. And the game go all the ways up to 5,4GHz.
I love Monster Hunter Saga, and this game is just saddening me. This performance is ridiculous, and doesn't even look any better than World. I'm so tired of not-so-good looking games demanding insane Hardware to work properly, like Silent Hill 2 Remake, Dragons Dogma 2, this game... I really hope they'll fix it on release.

For the black screen with FSR 3.0, you have to use Native AA. I think that it will be fixed in the release because, on SteamDeck, the same happens.

Have you tried running Wilds on a literal potato? Because the RX 470 from 2016 that can’t even run Monster Hunter World at 1440p comes close.

Да тут как бы и про нативное Full HD можно забыть на картах до RTX 4070. Вон моя RTX 4060 только с помощью черной магии смогла поднять с 20 до 60 FPS.
