There's a good reason for that. The reason being, Unknown is as much related to the Raths as Bazelgeuse is, which is to say, basically not at all except being bipedal flying wyverns.
I would call it Apocalypse because he's destroying everything and is much more than a Aletreon does, but it seems like that after Unknown reaches Rage 7 and the shadow Tornado is even much more than brutal
Now the thing is: Even we saw as a Rathian. It's true "form" may not even be a Rathian in the first place. Because if we think about it, if we are looking from afar, aside from the glow emitting from this beast, we have no clue what it even looks like since its body is all black. And the deadly nature from this beast preventing us from approaching it, thus has no clue what it actually looks like. We can only "assume" that it's a Rathian based on the shape from the glowing part it was emitting

One of the Best monsters I have ever seen! Now this is the kind of monsters that should appear in future games like monster hunter X. Lately players have been complaining about creatures like apex rajang or Deviljho which are just Felynes in comparison to the demon in this video. Anyways with monsters like this deserve a major comeback.

I'm gonna put a theory out there on this thing: Being that it borrows attacks from other monsters, along with its ludicrous amount of power, I think that it's the accumulated rage and hatred of all of the monsters that have been slain in the MHF universe, given a material form.
OMG That thing is an absolute beast, that demon has nothing to dowith a normal Rathian 0_o hopefully these arm weapon kinda things are going to be in the regular Monster Hunter series one day, these combos looked absolutely insane!
+Andre Gon They really aren't but then again the weapons on frontier are stupid. Tonfas give immortality whilst in the air unlike the glaive in mh4u. Evasion plus 3 in frontier is basically being unkillable in frontier whereas in mh4u it makes u nearly unhittable.

この当時は装備とスキル構成に変革期が起きていたころでしたね。剛５閃１から扇３閃３へとディスフィロアLV9999に挑戦できる至天であの復活インパクトからの、黒レイア投入に度肝を抜かれた覚醒レイア。ディスフィロアはなぜかギルメンでのクエが少なかったけど、こいつは全員称号獲得できた唯一のエンドモンスでした。
